    A thought about bi-partisanship, and the meaning of the word "co-operation"

    Very simply, treating a member who is disloyal to an organisation he betrayed as if he's a special member is a recipe for disaster. It provides a terrible example to other members of the organisation, essentially instructing them that betrayal is excusable. In addition, it rewards perfidy over loyalty.

    Why is this so hard to understand?
