This is the first chance I've had to sit down and really read your comment. Forgive me. They never lack for substance, and they are undoubtedly the result of your careful observation, and a knowledgeable understanding of the legislative process. Your insights deserve careful consideration.
Please note, you need never apologize to me. What you had written earlier was perfectly understandable, albeit densely layered. Still, it wasn't impenetrable. Like Calc III, it required some thought. You might know, however, I gave up after Calc III and topology sails right over my head. You go there, and ondelette will have to interpret.
When, I began this comment, I thought I had a question about something you'd written. Having performed the exercise of writing out the question, I see you've already answered it.
A bankrupt agenda that to-date, the rank and file of the Party refuse to repudiate in any meaningful way, because Party Loyalty and its campaign-financing power drive Congress, not the Constitution or the people.
Got it. And, it seems that this state of affairs is fed, promoted, and supported by party loyal voters, isn't it? It would be difficult, I think, to maintain that party loyalty in Congress by congressional members, unless there were unquestioning loyalty among the party's voters.
Thanks, again.
