On behalf of Australia I wish to apologise for Rupert Murdoch.
The US has profited greatly in the past from the presence of its talented immigrant population, in endeavours ranging through entertainment to politics to entrepreneurial businesses.
Sadly, some of those new US citizens have been less than beneficial, and the Arsehole from Adelaide, the 21st Century Fox, is one of them.
To burden your new country with the dubious cultural legacy of the Star, the New York Post and FauxNews in itself constitutes a form of treason.
And no, we don't want him back.
Then again as part of some warped revenge perhaps, you did send us Sol Trujillo...

@Associative Individualist
One can't help but love the splash page that www.antiwar.com puts up during its quarterly fund drives:
http://www.antiwar.com/day13e.html
"Antiwar.com is …
anti-American …
Pro-terrorist …"
~ David Horowitz,
neocon kook
Chris,
I'd overlooked your post above. Thanks for calling Raimond's response to Horowitz' criticism of Antiwar.com
Horowitz is a great example of someone with an Authoritarian personality who therefore had no trouble going from being a Marxist to being a Neocon.
This man is pure excrement.
He does not "interview" people. The moment they start talking, he begins talking more loudly over them and does not let up until the "interview" is over and he has made all of his pre-written "talking points".
Unless, of course they are coming from precisely his own pinheaded ideology - those that he sidles up to like a salivating dog in heat, nose duly inserted, i.e. McCain and Palin or a well-documented jew-hater.
(Or, gosh gee golly, was that redundant?) (You Betcha!)
Gibbs showed intelligence but way too much restraint. He should have immediately challenged this rectal-cranial inversion when Hannity started identifying himself with the word "journalist".
But, alas, that is why I would never make it in politics, and Obama is doing just fine without my help. The Working Strategy : Let the neocon lipstuck pigs self-destruct on their own.

"Why Obama goes on Fox News."
That was, in my opinion, an excellent post.
I kept thinking that Obama was going to be like Kerry and succumb to the republican's slime-throwing. But you are so right, this guy is smart, smart, smart. On almost everything I wanted to criticize him about, he has convinced me he made the right choice. He is strategic where I just want to react against the unfairness of it all.
He is going to make a great president. I don't think he can solve the massive problems caused by Bush and Cheney, nor can he resolve the huge racist problem he has shown to exist.
But he'll turn the country in the right direction. At least he will make a sincere intelligent effort.
MSNBC and CNN have also "reported" that Barack Obama has/ had affiliations with Acorn.
Of course, they are "reporting" about voter registration fraud, and suggesting a possibility of a connection to the democratic candidate.
What does all of this mean?
~I'd still like to know what happened to my 401k.
Think the networks could help?
support this kind of poison?
Is Sean Hannity anti-semitic? I don't know if he is or not, I'll give Sean Hannity that much lattitude....
Well, after welcoming Jerome Corsi, Andy Martin, and given his running association with Hal Turner (click sig for more), it looks like the evidence might be coming in. He's either anti-Semitic, or he just don't f**kin' care that the people he hangs with are.... Not enough space there to slide a sheepskin condom through.
Cheers,
I am tired of watching FOX news with its smear and ambush tactics and just reporting things as fact whose basis in fact go unchecked. Sean Hannity and FOX skillfully got a taste of their own medicine by Robert Gibbs, and gave a blueprint for the Democrats how to expose NEOCON garbage. Is Sean Hannity anti-semitic? I don't know if he is or not, I'll give Sean Hannity that much lattitude, but they like to use guilt by association tactics and that needs to be unacceptable, like inferences about Barack Obama being a terrorist because he has an arabic name or his association with Bill Ayres who was a radical Vietnam war opposer, which is not proven and couldn't have happened at an early of nine for Obama. On top of being unacceptable and bad it is not very intelligent, and the people who propagate it could cause an unfortunate situation to happen heaven forbid. Like a member of Palin's audience at one of her rallies calling Obama a terrorist and calling for killing Obama, and Sarah Palin remained quiet like it was nothing to her, if McCain is so confortable with that line of thinking how come he did not confront Obama with this in any of the debates, if he is so confident it is true? He knows it isn't

Our little fecal remnant RW foamer Limbaugh wannabee on KSFO here, Brian Sussman, was insisting yesterday that "community organizer" is short for "communist"; in fact the moron went so far as to say that Vladimir Lenin invented the term "community organizer". Правильно. Превосходно.
Damn, and I thought I was kidding, about its being ComSymps in academia who defend the unrepentant terrist, Ayers.
Turns out, then, that not only Ayers, but Obama is a Commie! Who knew?!
Thank the Ford for the courage and brain-power of professional Free World watch-doggers like Pussman and Dimbaugh.
Hello AnnieW
Stay independent, kiddo.
Sorry, she ain't your type. She's not dripping with fetid slime, nor does she like such on others in her immediate vicinity. And that on top of the fact that she's happily married.
So back to the basement and the Cheetohs with you; see if you can pick up a federal agent impersonating a young girl instead....
Cheers,
