I don't have any doubts about the existence of deranged maniacs and people just wanting to make a name for themselves, due to their lack of any self esteem. That is why, in fact, I see it as counter productive to make off the cuff and yes, "drama queen" remarks such as 'as long as the lone gunman...'. That comes off as sounding like getting shits and giggles writing a cheap movie script or some such. It doesn't help or change or improve upon what we are up against. It sounds not much different than those who stand in the crowd and yell, 'kill 'im!'
Just because I see those kinds of remarks as juvenile and counterproductive, that does not at all mean that I am not aware that we have crazies crawling amongst us.

Now go away, the rest of us have a country to save.
But, I truly believe that he will at least start moving the country in the right direction after the disastrous Republican - Bush rulership. I still need him to explain his FISA vote, but overall, Obama is a decent guy.
McCain was always a nasty guy. I could never understand why liberals had such a soft spot for him. It's good to know that at least that fawning over this "Maverick" is over for good.
Just 30 more days of this nonsense, and it will be done. Thankfully.

I think now is a time for cynicism. Obama has received corporate contributions. If the masters have realized that McCain cannot win, what better way to maximize the return on the investment in Obama than to support him, at least enough to let him know where he stands?

Both McCain and Obama are financed by the same powers, and those powers are betting that the voter can still be manipulated by the divide an conquer tactic of left vs. right, thus mollifying the vast majority of citizens while continuing, unabated, the killing and theft.
And the elections are fixed via e Voting, or can be if necessary.
