Glenn, I have to correct your statistical analysis. Sarah Palin's "Unqualified" rating changed only 1%, which is very small. That's within the margin of error of most polls, including this one. Her "Qualified" rating increased by 4%. I'd hardly say it was a debacle for her.
The changes to the responses on Palin are so small we can conclude that the debate hardly changed anyone's mind about her. The increases in Biden's "Favorable" and "Qualified" ratings, however, are significant. The results show that the debate was a big benefit to the Obama/Biden campaign.
