    72 years flushed down the drain

    72 years of claiming to be a man of honour and McCain flushes even a semblance of decency down the drain in 6 months.

    It makes George Bush's treatment of John McCain in the 2000 Republican candidates campaign look quaint and almost civilized.

    John McCain should apologize to George W. Bush now that he has sunk far below him in terms of common civility.
