I don't have any doubts about the existence of deranged maniacs and people just wanting to make a name for themselves, due to their lack of any self esteem. That is why, in fact, I see it as counter productive to make off the cuff and yes, "drama queen" remarks such as 'as long as the lone gunman...'. That comes off as sounding like getting shits and giggles writing a cheap movie script or some such. It doesn't help or change or improve upon what we are up against. It sounds not much different than those who stand in the crowd and yell, 'kill 'im!'
Just because I see those kinds of remarks as juvenile and counterproductive, that does not at all mean that I am not aware that we have crazies crawling amongst us.
