Shooter and the Rethugs fooled a lot of libertarian leaning people with all that “small government” talk; but that is how propaganda works.
Shooter is drinking a toast this weekend to the bailout of he and his buddies on the backs of the working poor --- yet again. Then he would put you in jail for having a “dirty picture” as if it were the 50s all over again.

Violence is fine. Penis's and urine. Bad. I can watch people getting stabbed, shot and worse all day long - on network TV. But somehow, Janet Jackson's nipple's is obscene.
Plot, Captivity
The film opens with the torture of a young man (whose face is covered) - 2 tubes are inserted into his nose, and (via a foot pump) a greenish fluid in pumped in through one pipe - causing blood to pour out through the other. The man's captor then kills him with a large hammer.Jennifer Tree (Elisha Cuthbert), a young fashion model and cover girl, had captured the attention of photographers and for better or worse, the public at large. On an evening out alone, Jennifer is stalked and drugged. She wakes in a stupor to find herself captive and confined to a cell.
A series of metal bins and numbered lockers abruptly swing open in front of her. They contain personal items taken from her apartment. She is forced to view videotapes containing images of the victims that were tortured previous to her captivity as well as videotaped interviews she had given to the media in the past. Trapped, realizing there is no way out, Jennifer pleads and screams to anyone that might hear her. During her confinement, she is subjected to various forms of psychological and sensory torture. She is forced to drink a blended mixture of an eye, ear and nose of a previous victim. Then, she is made to decide who dies within 30 seconds: herself or her dog, Suzy.

Figuring out other people's psyches is always fraught with danger.
As someone who has been an 18-year-old girl, I would agree that I at least was not sophisticated and was easily taken advantage of by older men. Maybe other girls were more aware of the world and wise to its ways than I was. Doesn't mean I think we should change the laws and make 21 the age of majority for girls, but it does mean that I don't think that a culture that approves of 18-year-old girls selling their sex is very cherishing of its young women.

One could argue that drugs (and alcohol), pornography, prostitution, gambling, and pretty much all the vices victimize someone. I think my point was, if it's a job to go get raped and abused for the glory of the porn industry and it's a job to go kill and get abused for the glory of your country. Why are you willing to defend one set of victims and not willing to defend the other? Aren't they both atrocities- regardless of who gets paid? I'm not a constitutional lawyer, so maybe there is some finer point I'm missing?
