This is about the gazillionth example of GOP projection; once again punishing others for the evil within themselves. Although I loved Jack Hughes line about, shall we say, "the boner test" to judge the legality of sadism, I think in this case it probably isn't correct. I think that Lynndie England's notorious boyfriend clearly was turned on by torture, as is the GOP 'base."
I think a better test would be that torture is okay, as long as only they get to do it.
Sadism, like money and power, are only dangerous when they fall into the wrong hands.
