Porn is a huge and profitable industry, with many customers (but few advocates, obviously...) and is a path, for certain young people, both male and female, to make a lot of money, based not on what they have upstairs, but the staircase leading there. It has ever been thus.
While I myself have never seen porn, I have a friend who has, and she assures me that the "actors" seem to be having fun.
Such is not the case with the victims of US-sponsored, sexually-tinged torture.
