Rasmussen and Gallup both have him at eight over McCain, and Rasmussen notes that Obama's current 52% is higher than either 2004 candidate polled (as far as Rasmussen goes).
My god, its gratifying that after the last ten years of bizarro media and political manipulation, of the most unfounded lies being repeated ad nauseum everywhere you turn, that finally these tactics seem to be doing nothing but backfiring. McCain and Palin look are revealed to be pigs bathing in their own feces. Life is good today.
Tomorrow of course, they will claim that Iran has a nuclear suitcase bomb, declare martial law and suspend the elections.
