A country in shambles, under GOP rule

Efforts to blame Democrats for the country's deep woes assume deep stupidity on the part of the glorified Regular Voter.

    Voter Ignorance!

I am aware that's it's probably not all the Republican's fault! But, every time they get into office. The deficit goes into the stratosphere again, the middle class suffer, the rich get big tax cuts, taxes are never raised so the deficit goes up, jobs become low paying ones, homeless becomes a way of life, the scandals become endless, the economy goes into the tank while Republican's get fatter and richer. It's only taken 8 years to put us in bankruptcy with Bush II with Reagan/Bush I it took 12. So that is what I am basing my opinion of Republican's rule on. The Republican's aways touted being fiscal conservatives but, I have yet to see it! That was only one of the thousand reasons I stopped voting Republican in the 80's. What the Republican's said and what they did were always two completely different things. They aren't fiscally responsible enough to be in control of a country! It always goes down the tubes when they are in control. I live in a state that's had Republican governor's for 3 terms now. We have a 1 billion dollar shortfall and it's a shambles. Because taxes never get raised. This has to be the most totally irresponsible way to run a government on the planet. But, still people vote these fiscal conservatives in because they don't want to pay anymore in taxes. So everyone suffers as a result. Most of it can be blamed on voter ignorance!!!! They would rather see abortion illegal and have their gun than would a decent paying job. So all of it can't be blamed on Republican's.
