    Of burrs and saddles.

    Dirigo, honey, no saddles in my household, we do gardening not equestrian. Even if we were inclined to play pony games here, no one would want to consent to wear the saddle, and no one's been able to put a bridle on me my entire life. ;-}

    So, the burr on my pantsleg, isn't Palin so much as the people like Punctuationally Challenged who insist that the midwest isn't smart enough to see through her staged crap.

    Her "Aw shucks, do we really have to let go of Michigan?" whine, as the McCain campaign tucked their tail and slithered away, just buttresses my point. The fact that she had to find out about it by reading the newspaper after it was a done deal, tells you what the McCain campaign really thinks her role is.

    Clarion calls indeed. :-)
