Bill may sue you for libel, for myself, I just remain hungry for better bloggers.

OK, you weren't being ironic and doing a parody of Timberman's prose stylings in your last post, right?
Before you answer that, please also tell me what you mean by, "Now that the cool kids are gone, and the best hors d'ouevres have been eaten, the ones who ran him off, offer mere tidbits to satiate a hungry crowd."
Is WT "the cool kids"? If so, who are the uncool kids, and what did they say to "run him/them off"? He was still posting when I left for several months in order to concentrate on my book, and when I resumed posting comments here, he no longer was.
Who are these unkewl kids, Jim, and what did they say to Bill?
By the way, if you're really "hungry for better bloggers", remember that Glenn Greenwald doesn't have the only game in Internet Town.
Or did you mean better commenters at Glenn's blog? If that's what you meant, do you agree with LWMauliac that we're all "asshats", or would you just say we're second-rate WT wannabes offering up stale cheese, rather than the departed worldly-wise "cool kids" who delivered the fancy hor's d'oeuvres?
I ask you these things, Jim, because writing is a political act, and when people exhibit authoritarian tendencies in their
written advocacy, I think it behooves us to recognize and reject that advocacy.
