A country in shambles, under GOP rule

Efforts to blame Democrats for the country's deep woes assume deep stupidity on the part of the glorified Regular Voter.

    @cynj

    I mentioned this on another thread, but it's about the winking and other cutesy stuff.

    I've seen salesreps turn on the cutesy, flirty factor sometimes to the point of it being ridiculous. One pretty salesrep rolled her eyes at me (behind my boss's back) at him falling for her antics, to let me "in" on the joke. Pretty good trick actually, she managed to bond with both of us.

    Sarah's not letting us in on the joke, I can't quite get who she's supposed to be appealing to. She has the evangelicals, they were never in question. Her base would love the other Sarah from 2006 with just as much fervor.

    Steve Schmidt maybe isn't the "genius" he's made out to be, he is just following an old successful script that only worked when circumstances were very different.
