Check out cindy's story in the phoenix new times (you know how to google right?). I seem to recall thet her dad got the distribution rights for beverages from the mob. He had a few run ins with the law but of course this is the wild west so it's ok-puke.
Gee, this little video doesn't mention that John was married and left his car wreck disabled wife. That's the republicant's version of family values......
oh ya, her dress cost 300 grand.....
Actually, it's a special-ops thing, but then liberals wouldn't know anything about that.
You misspelled "special-ed".
No charge.
Cheers,
Hey, c'mon.
Hornet driver drives a Hornet, didn't he tell you?.
If he had not I'd be surprised.
That Hornet has a horn and he knows how to blow it.
On the other hand, being a DFH dickhead such as yourself is a conscious choice.
I posted previously on this thread about Sh**ter's desire to clean up the discourse.....
Now we know what he means.
Hell, even a brain-dead organism still has reflexes that kick in when poked.
;-)
Cheers,
Thanks for acknowledging my post, and thanks also for the reprint of the article and pointing out that many respected leaders have done community organizing.
I'm trying to remain optimistic, but it is hard. The culture wars are not going to end with the election. In my state anyway, they will go on and on, and to tell the truth, it's wearing me down, since it involves family and friends.
I think the one point that this election is highlighting is the fact that there are a lot of people who must be really ashamed of the choices they have made in their lives. How else to explain college-educated people who couldn't plant and grow an eggplant trying to curry good ol' boy cred. Bush, Rove, heck, all of the Republican leaders are people who know how to fill out a tux and can probably pick out a wine with the best of them, but for some reason they choose to set themselves up as farmer or rancher joes, which would be OK except their picture of farmer or rancher joes is stereotypical and insulting and does not ackowledge the fact that many farmers also know to fill out a tux and pick out a good wine and have college degrees to boot.
I live in the biggest city in my state, and it is full of pickups with beds that have never been touched by anything but a bag of groceries. Most of the people who live here would have to go back five generations before they found a relative who could tell them what crop rotation means. They live in a city for Christ's sake, and talk about watching out for city slickers. I'm not saying they are not hard working people who do their best for their families and jobs, but that is the whole point. What are they so ashamed of that they will not just admit that they are city dwellers far removed from their agrarian roots? This is not totally about politics, it's about how we define ourselves, so why are so many defining themselves with worn out cliches?
This is also a state that touts abstinence-only education in many parts of the state, which is just another way of saying that syphilis should be the main form of birth control. It's getting to that point, since syphilis rates are through the roof, but, hey it causes sterility, so teen pregnancy problem solved. I'm also so proud to report that if the herpes infection rate goes unchecked we will have a 100% infection rate by 2020. Think anybody cares? Guess again. This situation was another of my serious reservations about voting for McCain/Palin.
In the meantime I have more pressing concerns like steeling myself for the armed camp this state will become on election day. We have concealed carry permission now which did not exist four years ago, so that should make things interesting.
By the way they interviewed two women in my state about Palin's speech. One was supposedly impressed, mumbling something about Palin identifying with her problems, but she still didn't say she was voting for McCain/Palin. Interesting.
Your list of McShameful flip-flops is outstanding. I sent it to all my Dem and conservative friends and to all the email addresses I have. Thanks so much for that.

Haven't heard the end of it yet.
The information on Obama's connection to unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers and the millions they wasted on the Annenburg Challenge (Obama's one and only executive position) is going to burst through the dam of stonewalling Obama has put up.
Millions were given to improve education in Chicago, but the money was given to Leftist organizations that promoted racial grievances and genuine educational institutions such as Algebra Plus were turned down.
It's the final nail in his coffin.
"The Republicans are the captain of the football team and the hot head cheerleader ("winners") making fun of the Democrats, represented by the goth kid in the back of the classroom wearing black lipstick and writing in his journal ("the loser"). He's too chickenshit to stand up to them, so he just writes about killing them instead. -- kufir77"
Exactly! Except where the captain of the football team commits war crimes, and stuff...

Ayers and Annenburg are, bluntly, non-issues.

Interesting recitation of the 'facts' (I use the term advisedly). Documentation?
It's the final nail in his coffin.
Hilarious. Guess amateur night is still going on.
