The GOP's cheerful viciousness

Yet again, the GOP launches brutal personality and cultural attacks on the Democratic candidate. Yet again, Democrats seem determined to allow it to do so.

    The essential exercise

What should Biden have said? What could he have said? And then, like the chess game it is, what would have come back, and then repeat: what should/could Biden say.

    Maybe if the democrats could

    1) hit back

    2) stay in the fight

    3) maybe win one

The GOP might choose something else.

But something is in water, something is in the nature of the person who is liberal, who is democrat: we don't do that.

And that's also why the Republicans don't like us. They feel like they're in the company of sheep. The sheep that say "don't make a fuss", the sheep that say "let him eat one and then he'll leave the rest of us alone."

It would be nice if the sheep ate one of those wolves. Really chomped his ass.

But in the meantime, at least the sheep should put up a serious fight.

Of course, well, that might be like Howard Dean, and the sheep don't like that. Or like Al Gore who was counseled that he was being too rough on Bush in the debates. And then there was Kerry, sheep all the way.

Where is the Democratic attack dog? You know, there are dogs that are bred to guard the sheep.
