    Where you are wrong

We all know that the media are more sympathetic to the GOP. We also know that if the Democrats engaged in the sort of sneering, personal attacks launched by Palin and Il Duce last night that they would be characterized in the media as angry, spiteful, and shrill. That just reflects the media environment in which we live. So it seems naive to me to argue that the Democrats should adopt the same strategy as the GOP. The GOP uses that strategy because they can get away with it. You seem to think that if the Democrats used the same tactics, they would be covered in the same way by the media. They wouldn't. That is why most Democrats are wary of using these tactics.
