Here's the difference between Katrina in 2005 and Gustav in 2008.

There will be adults in charge, instead of Kathleen Blanco and Ray Nagin. Nagin is still there, but he'll be instructed on how to manage his city.

The warnings to New Orleans' underclass will be unmistakable and irrefutable. Instead of their ignoring President Bush's telling everyone, on national television, to evacuate, this time people will know better. Bobby Jindal has told them that they won't be able to the Superdome. And hopefully, some cajun will be smart enough to secure all of the barges before one breaks loose and smashes into a levee.

Then, all we'll be left with is Don Fowler and Michael Moore having told the world that this was God's message to Republicans.
