As far as I am aware Roman Catholics do not generally traffic in end-time millenial theories ... and regard such things with distain ...
I think it Ivins was an "end-timer" it would have been mentioned.
09/11 caused quite a lot of people to snap ... and get very angry and feel very impotent... and very anti-Arab ... having zero to do with end-times, Hagee or other crazies.
You came up with your "profile" and you're trying to make it fit Ivins ... I don't see a fit.
Please read what Ivins was responding to. In that Imam Hendi is saying very reasonable things, including let's Jews and Muslims of Frederick meet each other, and the response from Rabbi Kosman is something like - Hendi is a liar, Islam is for the death of every Jew and now every Christian as well.
My response too could very well be like Ivins.
---
Regarding the phrase "decreed the death of every Jew and every American" why quote the phrase when you can quote the whole sentence including "Osama bin Laden has just decreed death to all Jews and all Americans" - if that somehow connects things for you then virtually **every newsroom** in America in 2001 is guilty of anthrax terrorism.
---
As I said before, the flask RR-1029(?) is the most significant piece of evidence. Briefly, **it seems** Ivins withheld contents from this flask and substituted them with something else when asked for samples, and this flask turned out to be the DNA-match including mutated anthrax for the mailed anthrax.
As I said, **it seems**. Later on, the FBI seized the flask and found the DNA match.
I knew there was a reason I wade through almost every single comment in the threads. Put me down for member ship in the Cargo Cult.
Thank You. DO keep in mind, it's a very common name. But we'll see. That was something!

Here's the Sept 26, 2001 letter:
"On September 26, 2001, in an e-mail to a friend, Dr. Ivins writes "The news media has been saying that some members of Congress and members of the ACLU oppose many of the Justice Department proposals for combating terrorism, saying that they are unconstitutional and infringe too much on civil liberties. Many people don't know it but the official ACLU position is to oppose all metal detectors in airports and schools and other public buildings. It's interesting that we may now be living in a time when our biggest threat to civil liberties and freedom doesn't come from the government but fiom enemies of the government. Osama Bin Laden has just decreed death to all Jews and all Americans, but I guess that doesn't mean a lot to the ACLU. Maybe I should move to Canada. . . .""
If you turn out to be right, best comment I ever read here.
We should be hearing from Jim in 9...8...7...
leaves the strong impression that virtually no Catholics believe in dispensationalism. http://www.amazon.com/Will-Catholics-Left-Behind-Apologetics/dp/0898709504/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1218055507&sr=1-1
I haven't had much to do with the Catholic Church in years, but my parochial school education leaves me with the strong impression that Catholics would have a hard time accepting any part of the end times cult.
There's a massive difference between deciding to give up all of your personal identifiers in your own comment post, and attempting to 'out' someone by giving theirs.
I think you're way out of line.
"You mock me."
Was it as good for you as it was for me?
Oh! You said "mock".
My bad.
I'm assuming this is Jim F. White of the National Institutes of Health, Department of Health and Human Services, Bethesda, MD?
You would be wrong in your assumption, but it's a pretty common name, so I can see how you could miss that boat.
[Irony alert!]
I just counted 27 of them in the white pages for my town....maybe some of them work for Batelle.....
Jim's busy reading, Derbig. We should leave him alone because he's been offering up some pretty compelling analysis with just scraps to work with so far. I'm interested to see what else he comes up with. ;-}
I looked up the NIH staff directory. James F. White is listed as "NINDS (National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke)" and Organization: BASIC NEUROSCNCS PRGM (HNQ23) and would have no say in anything to do with anthrax vaccinations I think.
So
a) cargocult is a boor
b) cargocult is wrong
Finally, I request our Jim White not to reply one way or the other but to simply ignore cargocult. Also, I thank our Jim White for very informative posts.
I'm ignoring cargocult henceforth, belongs in the l.w.m. category.
Another theory all shot to hell. There does remain the question of how Jim White knew about Ivins hours and activities, but I'm trying to follow while, oh lets go back..."After some very quick skimming, I see spikes of afterhours activities by Ivins around the times of the mailings but dropping off just afterwards" (Jim White)
but God only knows what you (anyone) can find on the internet, given good search skills. Maybe Ivin's time cards, too.
It would have been interesting, someone from the interested agency trying to shape the discussion at the comments section.
Oh well, can't blame me for getting excited. Most people wouldn't have called him out. If I remember Cargo Cult's vitae he could have asked him for a job.
Ivins withheld contents from this flask and substituted them with something else when asked for samples
Not unusual at all. If you pour almost anything into A Chivas or Maker's bottle, people will think it's nectar. We've all done it. You gotta impress people somehow.
My wife still laughs about the time they released the wrong Jim White from jail here where we live.
I link regularly to a blog where I even put up my own picture not too long ago. Those who are good detectives will find another blog I post to that is more local and a looong way from NIH.
I'll be happy to email my resume to Glenn any time he wants (although it's very old--I haven't worked in a while).
PS--The skimming to find Ivins' work hours was skimming the search warrant material in the link I gave. Reading comprehension is a plus.
If you check my latest blog post, you'll find I have some pressing questions for the folks at Dugway and Batelle.
