I understand that today isn't the day after all for the FBI press briefing. Perhaps docu-dump Friday will be the day -- coinciding with opening day of the Olympics to ensure the smallest media window possible.

Several reports now say the document dump will be later today.

The chief judge of Washington’s federal courthouse on Wednesday unsealed hundreds of pages of documents in the FBI’s nearly 7-year investigation of anthrax mailings that killed five people.

The move by U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth came after consultation with Amy Jeffress, a national security prosecutor at Justice, and as FBI Director Robert Mueller prepared to brief the families of anthrax victims on details of the case.

The documents that Lamberth authorized to be released include at least 14 search warrants aimed at Army microbiologist Bruce Ivins, whom federal investigators were closing in on as he committed suicide last week. The records include the government summaries used to justify the search warrants, the warrants themselves and summaries of what FBI agents seized in each search.

Ivins' papers indicate that he was interested in creating a better "recombinant" vaccine. That is one where proteins that confer immunity are cultured in a host organism, negating the need to culture the actual anthrax. The current ( BioPort AVA ) vaccine is produced by a relatively ancient techique. It is the supernatent from the culture of actual anthrax, containing the protein domain "protective antigen". Thus PA refers to the active ingredient, and you may notice the abbreviation PA in some of the technical clips Glenn has posted.

The BioPort product has some problems, to put it very mildly. It has been known to cause a rare blood disease called "aplastic anemia".

I have seen at least one reference indicating that Ivins himself believed he was suffering from AA. That's quite some motivation, and in fact he was a victim multiple times over.

VaxGen, now defunct, was the company working on the modern recombinant vaccine. But what fun would a recombinant vaccine be? Our anthrax national monument, BioPort, wouldn't be able to play with their anthrax anymore. Obviously, the FBI had to shutdown Ft. Dietrich and VaxGen at any cost. They are truly an efficient organization.

I have seen repeated attempts to shield and protect Philip Zack (and the Camel Club), even to the point of refusing to mention his name, from some key researchers into the 9/11 anthrax attacks who haven't hesitated to smear the names of other suspects, like Stephen Hatfill and Bruce Ivins. The only explanation for this behavior that comes to mind is that the Camel Club was part of a conspiracy that reached to levels of the government high enough to control the FBI investigation into the 9/11 anthrax attacks and to keep it focused away from the truth.

The motive for the 9/11 anthrax attacks should be glaringly obvious: 1) to demonize Muslims and Arabs, 2) to magnify the hysteria generated by 9/11, 3) to help provide the Bush 43 administration and the neoconservatives a pretext to get on with the Iraq War and World World War IV, 4) to intimidate the Democratic Party leadership and 5) to gin up the pressure for developing a police state culture domestically. Notice that the mainstream media absurdly NEVER mention the most obvious motives for conducting an inside job and false flag op of this kind. The two letters ranting about death to America and Israel make the intentions of the 9/11 anthrax attackers perfectly clear. Bush and Cheney seized on this event to try to bully the FBI into blaming Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda for the attacks, even after it was known to the FBI that the attacks came from within the American government.

Bruce Ivins has possibly been the victim of a criminal conspiracy by those who are trying to cover up the true identity of the 9/11 anthrax attackers, while keeping their ideological and policy program on track. That is the best theory that fits the known facts so far. We haven't seen a shred of evidence that points to Ivins as the culprit, but we have seen a great deal of evidence that points away from Ivins.

Could someone please slam my wild conspiracy theory - that there never was an anthrax death(s) to begin with.

Are there medical treatment records or coroners reports ‘totally independent’ and NOT supported by government controlled patient isolation / military medical diagnosis or lab testing?

Did any of the anthrax victims in this case go to their local hospital ward with symptoms? What’s the protocol for contaminated corpse disposal?

This implausible suggestion is a stretch; however, if you are inclined to believe the Fed’s will stoop to the levels some have suggested in this case why would a false flag OP be impossible?

'Their' goal – fear generation by highly controlled biological response protocols and not actual anthrax attack on the general populus. As the government controlled said agent for most of the story-line, they together are the biggest geese in the chase.

I can see no reason to do so. Why use fake powder and pull a hoax that there was anthrax when the US government has tons of the stuff? (well, I hope not "tons")

It is like the fools who wanted to claim that the plane that hit the pentagon was really not a plane. That story is an obvious government plant since using all Planes was the MO of the day and slipping in a missile for no good reason would just be stupid.

So, why don't you come up with a reason why the whole anthrax thing would be a hoax; I mean, you don't think Bush was squeamish about about Americans getting hurt do you?
