Let's think of the timing: if someone in some high office would like the FBI to draw out this investigation for a good long time so that evidence disappears... but finish the investigation before their term ends...that would be convenient, no?
Who might benefit from manipulating the investigation just so?
But of course they're not impotent, and their aides might be a little careless... so things like advice about Cipro might leak out...
And if the intent is to ensure that we go to war with Iraq, linking Iraq with WMD... that would take some time to plan and execute, right? Certainly more than a week, no?
Which person in government would have the experience, the position of authority, and the demonstrated inclinations to perpetrate this act?
