Today's coverup of surveillance crimes and Barack Obama

The Democratic nominee's support for this bill speaks volumes about what he is and isn't.

I may be stupid, but I still have hope

That this is not the end and a compromise bill that is actually a compromise and not a capitulation can be passed. What about the Bingaman amendment? What about the logic of voting on immunity to which you don't know the crime? If you did commit a crime, you're immune? If you didn't, you're immune anyway? It’s all unbelievably frustrating.

I don't want to be an old man and finally hear about the release of documents finally proving the desecration of the constitution by the worst president in history and that my generation let him do it. I can't imagine explaining that to grandchildren.

"Wow, you gave money for an ad. Big deal Pops. I can't send an email to my friends without editing against surveillance because the government now gets to read anything I write. Thanks old man."

"It's not my fault! I didn't vote Republican. It was the Evangelists and other guys who wanted to drink beer with a guy who quit drinking after a dwi!"

"Well, I'd write more specifically what I think of your generation, but you're in power now and I'll probably get put on one of the Terrorist watch lists."
