What Nancy Pelosi, Steny Hoyer and Fred Hiatt mean by "bipartisanship"

Even the GOP, the media establishment and many Democrats themselves are openly mocking the claims by Pelosi and Hoyer that they "negotiated" a "bipartisan compromise."

    Obama just lost my vote.

It's bad enough that he turned yellow and decided to back this bill. He had to smear shit in my face with his patronizing little statement. If he wins the White House, it will be without my vote. I cannot and will not support someone who is too craven to stop police state measures. If I wanted someone who would knuckle under to Bush I would have supported Lieberman.

All he had to do was mention at one of his pep rallies how this bill rapes our privacy and freedoms, and that would have been the end of it.
