Obama, telecoms and the Beltway system

Why is the Democratic nominee intervening in a Democratic primary to support one of the worst pro-war, Bush-enabling Blue Dogs against a highly credible, progressive challenger?

    won'tgetfooledagain

Just an another ordinary hypocrite who fooled enough people to win a nomination

I want to thank the Obama wing of the Democratic Party and enabling Republicans who voted for Obama in the primaries for the worst choice of Presidential candidates in 50 years.

And here we have exactly the Manichean lens I wrote about -- first someone who blindly defends Obama and now someone who can't just criticize him, but has to say he's "the worst choice of Presidential candidates in 50 years."

I haven't heard from Hillary Clinton recently -- or, for that matter, ever -- on these issues. Clinton also endorsed Lieberman and plays this game the same way.

How long will the Obama believers hang on to that famous, big-deal, antiwar speech Barack Obama gave when he was a state Senator?

Opposing the Iraq War in 2002 was something relatively few people did -- especially people with national political ambitions.
