Judge Lefkow
It doesn't matter that Judge Lefkow is not Jewish. In Hale's eyes, a non Jewish woman married to a Jew is a race traitor who deserves nothing but death. Read "The Turner Diaries" sometime.

Richard Walther Darré
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Walther_Darr%C3%A9
Richard Walther Darré (born Ricardo Walther Oscar Darré, also known as Richard Walter Darré; 14 July 1895 - 5 September 1953) was an SS-Obergruppenführer and one of the leading Nazi ‘blood and soil’ ideologists. He served as Reich Minister of Food and Agriculture from 1933 to 1942.
[...] In 1922 he moved to Halle to continue his studies: here he took an agricultural degree, specialising in animal breeding.
As a young man in Germany, Darré initially joined the Artamans, a 'Volkish' youth group who were committed to returning to the land. It was against this backdrop that Darré began to develop the idea that the future of the "Nordic race" was linked to the soil in what came to be known as "Blut und Boden". Here "Blut" (blood) represents race or ancestry, while "Boden" can be translated as soil, territory, or land. The essence of the theory was the mutual and long-term relationship between a people and the land that it occupies and cultivates. His first political article in 1926 was on the subject of Internal Colonisation, which argued against Germany attempting to regain lost colonies. Most of his writing at this time, however, was on technical aspects of animal breeding.
His first book, Das Bauerntum als Lebensquell der nordischen Rasse (The peasantry as life-source of the Nordic Race) was written in 1928. He advocated more natural methods of land management, placing great emphasis on the conservation of forests, and demanded more open space and air in the raising of farm animals. Amongst those who heard and were impressed by these arguments was Heinrich Himmler, himself one of the Artamans.
Darré became infamous during the war for the following lurid and chilling excerpt of a speech he was said to have made in 1940, which was reported in Life magazine:
"As soon as we beat England we shall make an end of you Englishmen once and for all. Able-bodied men and women between the ages of 16 and 45 will be exported as slaves to the Continent. The old and weak will be exterminated. All men remaining in Britain as slaves will be sterilised; a million or two of the young women of the Nordic type will be segregated in a number of stud farms where, with the assistance of picked German sires, during a period of 10 or 12 years, they will produce annually a series of Nordic infants to be brought up in every way as Germans. These infants will form the future population of Britain. They will be partially educated in Germany and only those who fully satisfy the Nazi's requirements will be allowed to return to Britain and take up permanent residence. The rest will be sterilised and sent to join slave gangs in Germany. Thus, in a generation or two, the British will disappear."

Oliver Twist: "Please Sir, I want some more"
It may be the new national slogan under President Obama.
Obama:
"We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times ... and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK," Obama said.
"That's not leadership. That's not going to happen," he added.

Here we have a presidential candidate suggesting that the federal government should control how much we eat, what we drive, and what temperature we set out AC.
Total federal control anyone? And he is the best of the three by far!
Doom, thy name is government!
---------
Note to twits before you write: I go to work on a scooter that gets 85 mpg. I eat mostly fruit and vegetables --- and all meat very lean. My AC desire is a constant 82 degrees. This is about freedom verses control and the fact the Fed destroyed the dollar not the idiot American consumer.

@Jim White
George Bush fully expects to be "excused" from any responsibility for anything done on his watch.
He anticipates cutting brush, serenely, in Crawford, and days of golf with his buddies.

Harold, I really have no idea who is telling the truth in the Hale case
nor do I know why Glenn is being accused of defending him - for all I know, that accusation is itself completely spurious.
I think that Bob Dylan was being sardonic when he wrote "and others say, don't hate nothing at all except hatred," though, don't you agree? One so easily allows oneself to hate the haters, it becomes a mutually reinforcing cycle.
So I shall persevere with Hannah Arendt, who is only just beginning to get into her stride at the point I quoted her. A few pages later she manages to bring out the good side of Benjamin Disraeli, who it never before occurred to me even HAD a good side:
"Here was one who started out to sell his soul to the devil, but the devil did not want the soul and the gods gave him all the happiness of this earth."
I shall let you know if she ever begins to sound mawkish, because that is clearly the danger with this kind of writing.

Smirk, don't scold over this one
For once, I think GG should lower his dudgeon and think twice about what Ms. Parker means.
The Republican genius has always been for coded racism, which pushes the buttons of the intended audience, but gives them plausible deniability about intent. If they have suddenly switched to open, fully articulated racism, it represents a dramatic development for the party, and probably further evidence of its disintegration. Rove, Ailes et al. are probably not doing high fives over Ms. Parker's widely distributed rants. More likely, they are pooping bricks, knowing that if the GOP becomes identified as the party of white holdout racism, it's a death warrant.
Think how many Hispanic votes could be mobilized for Obama by Ms. Parker and her friends. So far, Hispanics have not voted in high numbers at all, and have not been overly keen on Obama when they do. But when they see the familiar racist / anti-immigrant sentiment deployed against Obama, a lot of buzzers will go off. Hispanics tend to suspect that anti-immigrant sentiment is all about keeping brown people in a second-class position, and Ms. Parker offers perfect confirmation of that suspicion. Ouch, there goes another brick.
Politicians trip over each other to be the most complete in selling out America on behalf of Israel, to compete for the Jewish vote. But there are more Asians than Jews in America. What will Asians think when they read Ms. Parker? It helps that Obama is actually rather moderate, to the right of Hillary on key issues like health care. Most Asian voters have a conservative temperament, and Rove-Ailes want them to think that Obama is George McGovern reincarnated. Ms. Parker will make sure they actually listen to Obama, and once they hear him, sold. Splash, klonk, another brick.
Normally, you would expect a pro-Republican corporate media bastion like WAPO to cooperate with the plan a little better, and help to conceal people like Ms. Parker. The only way Republicans can gain by using her is by targeting to a very select audience, and making sure everyone else doesn't hear. Broadcasting Ms. Parker on every editorial page in America is more like hoisting the GOP by its own Petard. As an Obama supporter, I say fire away, keep it coming.
