Understanding what Friedman's war declaration is about
The Israel Lobby has been pushing hard to create an alternate universe where Israel's war against the Palestinians and its regional ambitions for domination are packaged as part of America's war on terror.
With enough fear mongering and hate mongering it might even work.
This is the right context for understanding where Friedman is coming from.
