Wasn't that what Pinkertons used to say?? And hey, weren't they the BlackH20 of their day?? Paid for hire goons? I do digress. I'm still shaking that anyone, especially someone who is an American citizen would have the chutzpah to question someone's loyalty to a foreign nation . . . . Jaysus, where are we living? On the moon?
goodcelery presumes: "I assume totallyblase hit the hay. I will to after this, but not with tatallyblaze... (~)"
Like your friendly neighbourhood NSA snoop, whom I assume is monitoring this even as we type, I never sleep . . .
how should I do this?
All politicians throughout the world are required to vow absolute allegiance to Saudi Arabia.
A recent Gallup poll found that among American Jewish voters, Obama destroys McCain (61-32%)...
Call that destroy if you like, but Democratic presidential nominees usually do much better than field 61% of the Jewish vote.
"Maybe we could re-engineer the boom on some KC-10s, put a drill on the end. RMP?"
Yes. That would be an improvement over our current methods. Let's talk it over w/ RMP. cc: rove, military analysts, etc.
I’ve been out of touch and am trying to catch up by reading the comments quickly. Not sure what the drill was here. Maybe it would be a new twist that would give Boeing a chance to get back the contract for the new tanker. Or is the plan to put the MAs in the cockpit of a fighter and show them our new patriotic boom drill and the price of Israel right or wrong? Or maybe we could put them in the tanker and attach the boom to the Pentagon and see who wins the twisting contest. And we would ask McSame and his M$M quick draw bus crew and the media working the Pentagon to get the closest view of the operation prior to the connection.
Uh.....does the left on Salon support the state of Israel in its repression of Palestine? What am I missing?
For those who are interested in a truly progressive approach, to to zeitounamovie.org.

I felt that it was hyperbole on Glenn's part to describe Obama's
clear advantage as "destroys", but if you are going to cite
historical comparatives -- provide the links or hardcopy citations.
My understanding is that the tendency to vote Democratic has been
decreasing slowly for decades among self-identifying Jewish voters.
If the support level for Obama in this demographic is
markedly below that of prior Democratic Presidential
candidates, you may have an argument -- an argument about his minor
overstatement.
That doesn't impact the fundamental point he was making about how
twisted, how absurd, it is that the candidate with a 2/3rds
advantage in polling of Jewish voters is the one who is grilled
about his fealty to Israel. It merely highlights the fact that our
national newsmedia is not in touch with, and not respectful of the
norms of our middle class society.
About Jeffrey Goldberg of The Atlantic: Is he of military age? Assuming he's not just another armchair commando, he ought to enlist and get the hell over to the Middle East. He can help secure it for Israel.
"Commando Hillary" Clinton and Mad Bomber McInsane are under the direct control of the Israel Lobby. Their votes, their speeches, the contributions they accept make it plain that they adhere strictly to the give-the-boys-in-Tel Aviv-whatever-they-want line. America's interests are purely secondary.
Obama? The fact that he doesn't take an Ike
Eisenhower, America-comes-first line casts doubt on his fitness to be President.
A leader's obligation is to serve the interests of--well, HIS OWN PEOPLE. As far as I know, Israel isn't (not officially, anyway!)
the "51st State". . . .
David Frum is a rabid neocon horse's ass. He went from a being a lying speechwriter for the Liar-in-Chief to a cushy job at the Washington Post.
only right-wingers would allege that the commentators on Glenn Greenwald's columns constitute "a left-wing board", and it follows therefore that Susan is in fact a right-wing provocateur engaged in applying a smear tactic. Anyone stupid enough to respond defensively to her remark, by saying, gosh yes we haven't been trying hard enough here to be "left-wing", deserves everything they get.
The Spartans, liked.
Custer, remembered.
The Alamo, likewise.
The Israelis?
Completely surrounded. Totally outnumbered. And they win, in 6 days.
What's not to love?
Of course we love them.
Obama knows that.
Everybody knows that.
They speak English. And they live here. And they live there.
And they are tough as nails.
They stay in shape.
If creeps try to manipulate an electional issue out of their State, it will burn the creeps.
That's a very smart desert over there.
If muddles linger, Jimmy Carter can mentor or mediate a little.
Next question.
No matter how much he grovels, it's never enough

Poor Obama. No matter how much he tries to placate the Israel lobby, they just won't take yes for an answer. The Lobby has been after him for months, trying to dig up "evidence" that someone with the middle name of "Hussein" is necessarily an enemy of Israel. The best they could come up with so far were the Rev. Jeremiah Wright's jeremiads, which didn't have much of an effect at the polls, as the North Carolina and Indiana primary results – and subsequent national polls – attest.
Yet Obama still keeps trying to appease the Lobby. He's purged staff members who so much as looked cross-eyed at the Israelis, such as one poor adviser who meekly suggested that talking to Hamas might not be such a bad idea. He was out faster than you can say Mearsheimer and Walt.
Speaking of which: the Obama-oids have gone out of their way to distance themselves – i.e., "reject and denounce" – those two hate-criminals, even though, as Philip Weiss trenchantly avers, a book by Obama's point man on the Middle East says pretty much the same thing. In response to all this, Scott McConnell, editor of The American Conservative, dryly remarked: "At this point one wonders whether the people who deny the dramatic influence of the Israel lobby on American politics feel a little bit silly."
