It is my most ardent wish that all troubles can be resolved peacefully and with honor, however the situation is so unbelievably vile and rancid at this point that I do not see how peace has a chance. Not that I think I am any good at violence or likely to last long in the chaos of revolution, but what, could WE actually organize a peaceful work boycott? Could WE actually organize a complete boycott of all consumer products for a day, a week or a year? Should WE, millions strong, surround the Whitehouse and demand the criminals be delivered to us? I just don't know anymore. There is very little appetite amongst the population for anything but the simulation and its comforts.

  • lwm smears people again (Glenn Greenwald also?)

My problem with Ron Paul is the company he keeps. I don't want Alan Stang, Lew Rockwell or Justin Raimondo and the rest in the White House or in government in any capacity, and neither do you, whether you realize it or not. -- L.W.M.

I see no facts, only the sort of smear, lie, and propaganda that Glenn G. fights here all the time. Why does lwm do it? Who knows?

Since this is a smear by association; is Glenn Greenwald also included? After all, he will soon be sharing a stage with all those lwm just trashed. They are even going to give Ron Paul a lifetime achievement award.

" ... Congressman Paul joins one of most outstanding roster of speakers in the history of the libertarian movement on the two burning issues of our time — foreign policy and civil liberties. In addition to Paul, Kinzer, and Bacevich are Bruce Fein, Jonathan Turley, Glenn Greenwald, James Bovard, Sheldon Richman, Joseph Margulies, Joanne Mariner, Alexander Cockburn, Lew Rockwell, Justin Raimondo, Robert Higgs, David Henderson, Karen Kwiatkowski, Laurence Vance, Anthony Gregory, Bart Frazier, and Jacob Hornberger. ... "

  • And just as an aside

I have a theory that there were some ghostwiiters to the newsletters were specifically not mentioned. I suspect Rockwell wrote some of them but not the most virulent. I suspect Alan Stang was the ghost writer for many of those really objectionable and disgusting tracts. Alan Stan is a long time associate of Ron Paul, a close family friend. Paul knew what was going out under his name and who was writing it.

You can google that filth if you like.

  • No shit

    I see no facts.

You mean the horrible things the Democratic Party has done to the blacks in this country? They even elected a Senator that was a member of the KKK, did they not?

See how easy this ridiculous crap from the smear bund is? (look "smear bund" as its history is interesting)

I'm not trying to hall monitor you guys, but I just want to remind you of what what Glenn so politely requested...

The days of street brawling and Pinkerton's thugs, not to mention plain old marching in protest, are over. None of that is allowed. Anyone who tries it will be jailed. Period.

But we do know that profit margins are razor thin. Boycotts could hurt.

But of what? Gasoline? ELectronics? Cheap Chinese trinkets?

  • No way...

    No, Adnoto

    I'm a "left wing gatekeeper"!

The worst kind! Just like Glenn Greenwald! He won't write about the truth behind 9/11!

My problem with Ron Paul is the company he keeps. I don't want Alan Stang, Lew Rockwell or Justin Raimondo and the rest in the White House or in government in any capacity, and neither do you, whether you realize it or not. -- L.W.M.

No way am I gonna let that pass. Fuck Ron Paul. Who said anything about Ron Paul? I don't like the guy for his idiotic economic policy's but it still doesn't change the fact that he is more revolutionary, in many good ways, than you will ever be. Who the fuck do you think you are? Go fuck yourself in the worst possible way. Left-wing my ass. Only in this fucking shithole of a country, run by shit-heads like you, could you ever be considered left-wing. You may have been left-wing at one time but somewhere along the way you got too fucking old or too comfortable or both. You are no "left-wing gatekeeper." You are a left-wing shackler. You are a head in the sand, go along to get along, brain-dead centrist who wants to convince everyone else not to speak too loudly or challenge conventional wisdom too much.

Greenwald is no revolutionary. He isn't in it for real change. If things were like they were in the nineties his blog wouldn't exist. He has said as much. You are correct. You and Greenwald are fairly similar but "left-wing" you are not.

You know I like you, so I'll toss you a bone. But I will leave it to others to attend to your education and the development of your political concsiousness. It is your responsibility but some folks are kind enough to assist. Let's face it. Giving us The Byrd is getting stale. Try this!

Larry McDonald(D). A member of the United States House of Representatives, representing the seventh congressional district of Georgia as a... Democrat! He made Jesse Helms and George Wallace look like sane liberals!

President of the John Birch Society after Welch was forced to step down, until he was killed in the shoot down of KAL flight 007 in 1983, or was he....? [Cue Twilight Zone Theme]

Larry McDonald was known for his conservative views, even by Southern standards. In fact, one study named him the second most right-wing member of either chamber since 1937.

I do not think that Glenn meant that I was not to address the argument that everyone associated with antiwar.com or lrc.com are unspeakable terrible men and women.

Especially since Glenn is one of them. He is speaking at the FFF conference as I indicated. No, really he is.

Can lwm just trash people at will here? No facts at all?
