Conscience? We don't need no stinking Conscience....
Of course anyone who is in the business of advocating wholesale slaughter of innocents (which is the inevitable result of air campaigns) is not going to be terribly concerned about being caught in a lie.
In the grand scheme of things, concerns such as having your story straight or demonstrating integrety or self-awareness is for wimps.
