"crazed vermin"
Really, sugarman? How reminiscent, don't you think?
You're an idiot.
-Scorched earth is acceptable to many Democrats, but this time, the object is fellow Democrats.-
Right. Like issuing a push-poll that whispers McCain had a black baby out of wedlock?
Wait, wasn't that the GOP?
Repuglycan projection, Scooter.
It's the recipe for civil war. It's the reason ethnic and religious conflicts continue forever. -- shooter242
It didn't bother you when you thought your side was winning. Whine some more, please; it becomes you.
-Ha Ha! I think Fred Thompson has more on the ball than McCain ever did and that ain't much.-
At least Freddie had a day-job in the private sector.
-These people (McCain and Bush) are devout Christians and they follow the bible down to the letter.-
I have never been quite so sure. I never believed Bush when he spoke of his 'faith'.
Nor do I believe McCain.
I don't believe either of them are at all devout, though it's more likely that Junior is, if anyone.
Because you are so far out in right field that you are standing in the parking lot it appears to you that everyone else is on the same team. That is not the case.
Quite so. So much so, that watching Dean and Russert, I am
struck by the questioning of political tactics identical to those
used by Gore and Co. in 2000. It boils down to one issue... do you
follow the rules, or do you try to devine intention?
Mrs Clinton is the "driven to any tactic" aspect of Democrats
personfied. It is just amazing to see.
It apparently doesn't matter who the opponent is. The impetus to win is so manic, that there is no compromise, no ability to accept loss and build from there. Scorched earth is acceptable to many Democrats, but this time, the object is fellow Democrats.
It's the recipe for civil war. It's the reason ethnic and religious conflicts continue forever. At the rate this primary is progressing, half the Dem party will regard the other half just like the Israelis and Palestinians, Hutus and Tutsis, to the commenters here and GW Bush. Literally or figuratively, obliteration will be the program.
While the schadenfraude is just terrific, I'd still rather have Obama than McCain. But it could be like having a one-eyed king in the land of the blind if the rules are rejected in favor of emotion. The Democratic party is going to have to learn how to lose gracefully, or be forever locked in a struggle to the death.
-Nothing McCain says scares me even half as much as that look.-
I just heard Blitzer ask DiFi if she believed that the Syrian Sight was a reactor and a big stupid grin came over Feinstein's face as she answered the exactly way you would expect. It struck me that that was her involuntary lie-smirk.
No mention of immeasurable levels of radiation detected after obliterating an industrial scale facility with high-explosives, of course.
Bucky was cursing me, Baldie, not the darkness. I'm sure even he would admit that I'm only a small part of said darkness. After a good night's sleep, I would say I'm a less delirious, but definitely still cheery part. Carpe diem, and all that.
What curse? I am f'ing delighted and overwhelmed that you fixed our democracy yesterday. You claimed that those of us that think our democracy is broken should have been there as you light candles and sang songs. I am sure many of the republic's problems were solved.
Why don't you share with us what you fellows in Arizona (or whatever desert it was) did that caused you to claim great tidings of good cheer?

Dennis De Concini, an Arizona Senator in more auspicious times, was at yesterday's meeting, and described some of the evidence of John McCain's dark side which he's witnessed personally. Granted he's not liked McCain for a long time, but even allowing for the corrosive effect of personal animosity, it was definitely unsettling.
We've often had occasion to wonder in recent times whether or not this or that benevolent media personality is secretly deranged -- O. J. Simpson being the most notorious example, I suppose. Much of the time, I've discounted this blather the same way I discount all the other blather from our TV gossips, even though, like everyone else, I've let it linger in the back of my mind. In this case, maybe the evidence, such as it is, should be more closely examined.
I have substantial disagreements with every single poster here..

Okay, Shuman. But who remembers Wonder Warthog? Or The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers?
McCain is a vivid example of how the Veteran's Administration has failed the POWs and others who have suffered because of our criminal foreign policies. McCain's sanity should have been more fully explored and diagnosed before releasing him from their hospital. Not only does he display his illness with comments such as "a hundred years war" but also the fact that he allies himself with chickenhawk draft dodgers such as Joe Lieberman and Dick Cheney who avoided the war which harmed him so badly. Steve, World War 2
Once a fighter pilot/bomber, ALWAYS a fighter pilot. The Hawks are circling McCain & Co. and looking for another "front" to open up. Obviously, he is activley draggin' the sac to fill 'er up with more contributions, from whoever and whenever. He is stockpiling his cash for the big battle with the "Axis of Evil" (Obama or Hillary) or even both on the same ticket...Ha Ha! I think Fred Thompson has more on the ball than McCain ever did and that ain't much. I got to go feed my free-range chickens, now...
