This is my first spring back in the US after 5+ years overseas, so I just spent the last day and a half out in the woods ... the southern Appalachian Trail is especially nice right now. I grew up near here, but somehow, I had no idea all that time how beautiful it really is/was.
But yikes! A ton of good comments in the previous thread flew by that I wanted to respond to, esp on RMP's acquisitions subthread, the SOF issues, etc. After two more current posts from Glenn, maybe the thread just dies ... I'm new here, so I don't know the protocol. Over the next couple days I'll make some comments on the previous thread if anyone's interested (GC, WT, RMP, LWM, Ron Pauliac,Tone in DC, Jebbie, Che Pasa, bamage, bystander, Padinska and Aycharaych especially, since I believe they are largely replies to you) in continuing the discussion over there ...
