The New York Times in 2003 raised questions about the objectivity of retired generals. That didn't stop anyone -- including the Times -- from relying on them for "objective" commentary on the war.
  • No surprise to those who have been paying attention

    It is as one author has noted the age of American Unreason. We have been fed sound bites of 'information' and told to accept it as the truth. Sadly most individuals have not decided to question the 'news' we get from the major networks. I can only hope that enough people screaming about the lack of real reporting will awaken the American public. That is if they can stop worrying about the price of....(take your pick)...gas prices, heath care costs, making their mortgage payment, etc.
