    my brief explanation has always been greed.

    ...and I figured that there was probably no shortage of wingnut welfare financing the lies of Cokie ad nauseam.

    but every so often, the possibility that these "people" might just be enjoying being evil, in the pursuit of elite-driven Amurkin Democracy or just for the hell of it, occurs to me.

    I mean, really--how different from "let them eat cake" is shit like Cokie's? ("Cokie". jesus. how does one wind up calling oneself "Cokie", anyway?)
