What's it going to take?
We've all been watching the worst "fog job" in recent history take shape...the Iraq war,the 2008 election, etc. The chaotic nature of this circus is hard to follow for even the most fervently interested individual. As for the rest of the voting public, it's ignorance as usual, and another wasted election- another 4 or 8 years of precious time we can't afford. The standard fare being dished out in this political cafeteria is "A" or "B"...meatloaf or turkey. Neither is healthy for America, but who cares in Washington? There's an "open pocket" policy there...YOUR pocket. Iraq is just the tip of the iceberg. Unless we get behind a real candidate who truly cares about the future of our nation and its contributions to the world, there will be true "change" in America. Unfortunately, it won't be the change we had in mind. It's sad to me that the only man who has a handle on today's reality, Ron Paul, has been handicapped in this race by the fears of others. He is the wise old teacher and mentor we desperately need now, even if you may agree with everything he says.
In the world, America is the spoiled teenager with a pocket full of money, a big mouth, no respect and lots of advice for others. What would a good dad do with this kid? It's time for a "sit down" at the kitchen table. Ron Paul is the man for the job. What can we ALL do to get him back in the game?
