Sorry!
I'm sorry to go off, on that tangent, but it was diconcerting to see me listed as LWM's sock puppet. I was afraid of what LWM might do. There aren't many insults worse than that.
Okay, so buckyl throws around completely ridiculous, and "system-impossible" accusations. I won't let it bother me again, no matter who he says I, or anybody else, is. And then again, I've already been raised to LWM, and Bucky said I might be Timberman! What more could a man want? My day is made.

If He was Me, and I were You
Than I would always agree: Forgive me for saying so, but I don't think that diminishes them in any way -- you are still one of the best, and most thoughtful contributors here.
In fact, it's what I would say if I were me. I'll have to ask buckyl!

Of course McCain is a foreign policy expert,
McCain advocated more troops from the begining! Among many of those former war cheerleaders who now acknowlege that Iraq has been a disaster, I still detect a strong undercurrent that the idea of invasion was not wholly misguided, it was simply incompetently executed by this administration. As though, if carried out under different leadership, (like for instance, our wise, more troop demanding war hero McCain,) we'd all be sitting on dandelions in sunshine with this Iraq thing.

@casual_observer
“Why the heck would they continue with this stuff on an indefinate loop if they didn't mean to do it?”
I am not saying they won’t attack Iran, but another reason to keep talking about Iran is because the Busheviks must have an active enemy to keep their supporters believing in the war, hating Muslims and knowing victory will eventually be theirs. They also have to appease the Israeli hardliners.

kitt the liar shows up ...
"... He thinks people can post under another person's all ready in use handle. That is not possible. Bucky1 lives on some other planet."
The snippy little liar showed up to complete the set. You are not insane, you are just a little jerk.
I live in Florida, and I know that only the one who registers a handle may use it under normal circumstances. I also know, as do you, that lwm uses many. I think moser is classic lwm, but short of lwm ever belling honest about it we will never know.
The odds on kitt being honest on anything is, of course, vanishingly small.

confessional thoughts
I'd like to post as Derbig Mooser's wife, or more accurately, perhaps, the sockpuppet for Derbig Mooser's wife. For all I know, she already posts here under multiple names. I think I could qualify as her sock because I once threated to shoot the teevee with my .20 gauge. Fortunately, it didn't come to more than racking in a shell to convince my husband (who is not Derbig) to switch the channel back to the movie I was watching. Derbig likely would have responded differently, which is why I wouldn't qualify to be his wife, but might qualify to be his wife's sockpuppet. If she holds auditions, Derbig, be sure to let me know.
Sorry, DCLaw1 and Bill Owen - just couldn't resist.

re: @ Bucky --- Statistics
2 million is not out of the question, but it is not a number that the American public could ever come to terms with. But neither is 650,000 for that matter, nor the 3 million Vietnamese. They have been turned into red mist, smoke and released into the stratosphere.
Herr Eichmann may have been right when he said, "One hundred dead are a catastrophe, a million dead are a statistic."
Oppenheimer knew the score, "I have become death, the destroyer of worlds".
-- Bill Owen
I do not dispute anything you say; but if we do not make America see what she has done, then she will do it again. Someone in national politics must ask why we have a world wide killing machine and why 2 million Iraqi people has to die when they had no means of hurting us at all.
If we never ask that question seriously, we will just get Red-state v. Blue-state in the super bowl to see whose thieves get to steal from the working man for the next 4 years.

RMP to Casual O
I think along the same lines as what RMP wrote in reply to Casual O about the ongoing Iran = evil BS that the administration continues to hang over our heads.

-Call it de-Bu'ushification.-
@ Jim White
Good one. Thats a keeper.

@buckyl
I think moser is classic lwm, but short of lwm ever belling honest about it we will never know.
This is getting way to existential for me. If I fell like throwing up, am I alive. Jesus this isn't Satire, it's Satre.
Wait till my wife finds out she's been sleeping with LWM all these years! LWM, how was it? Does she go? Nod-nod, wink-wink.
I sat here and typed all day, and I find out my existence is not my own. Oh well, things are tough all over.
I was just sitting here, waiting for Godot, anyway.
Bucky, who are you?

rmp @ busheviks
True, true. But if that is the reason--to appease right-wingers and Israel lobby, wouldn't some splindid but more vague sabre-rattling do just as well, or even better? I mean, why not go after Ahmadinajad (sp) for being a holocaust denier, or for just being batshit crazy. Wouldn't that be a better, more inspirational motivator for Bush's base than these technical and completely insubstantial claims of copper disks and artillery rockets? I think it would.
Therefore, I still think the only reason to continually bring up these attempts at hard evidence of Iranian milatarism in Iraq is to manufacture an excuse for a strike.

re: Noise
Could you all just quit this insipid squabbling? These ridiculous ongoing feuds between regular commenters are as boring as they are pointless.
There isn't enough going on in the world to debate substantively?
-- DCLaw1
If you read it all, you know by now that omooex asked where lwm was; and he was told that lwm is here. We also listed a few of his handles, although none proven in a court just yet.
By now you know that lwm is here and having one hell of a good time. He has his cabal and his puppets with him. So enjoy. Or not, because lwm and Timberman do not care if you like it or not.
