Still more media stars admit there is a pervasive pro-McCain double standard in their coverage.

  • "The War On Iraq will come to a grinding halt!"

Whatever you have to tell yourself. Does that mean that we'll still have 50k troops there guarding "our" military bases?

    -- Chris Sinnard

Nope, they'll have to come home. Maybe we could give them a bonus or extra promotion to make up for that hazardous mission. You've heard what Shooter says the streets are like here? Can you blame them if they want to stay?

  • German is also a loving tongue

Consider adding: Gepäckträger, Dudelsackpfeifer, and Staubsauger. (Bucky is not a German word, but perhaps it should be.)

  • right on time comes another one ...

I suspect both Proximity Warning and SomeNYGuy but that is still open.

    -- bucky1

Consider it closed, shithead. I have never posted here under any other name.

    -- SomeNYGuy

    Ya, right.

  • perhaps you're all bebop

for all I know, you're all bebop under different names, including greenwald.

    What a scam.

  • @RMP

How's about we just leave the subject of my wife alone, huh. You think it's easy living with a woman who (as I found out several years in) shot her first husband?

So let's just leave her out of it, okay.

  • Debig Mooser and Paul R?

A hen tooth? I napped. What hen fatigue!

For Pete's sake. In a nap let's just dream,

for children's sake, and Pete a sharp tooth?

I'm afraid to read the comments about flop squirts.

Paul R. use to write about a hen's buck-front tooth.

  • I read the article and watched the video

of Petraeus claiming Iran is behind the attack on the Green Zone yesterday. What's missing?

The proof he claims to have. If he had real proof, we'd have pictures on CNN right now with Iranian manufacturing marks on the remains of the shells.

They'll get around to giving us that proof right after they find Saddam's WMD's, capture Osama and provide proof that Iran is trying to build nuclear weapons.

Sorry guys, your "Team B" won't work.

Not this time. (Now where have I heard that phrase? It has a very nice ring to it.)

  • Everyone who has ever disagreed with bucky1 is LWM!

Including members of his own family! Including portions of his own body!

Thanks for reminding me why I haven't posted here in months. Trolls are one thing; you are a disease.

  • "There You Go Again"

Bucky, do you know how much it hurts me to quote that line at you?

Timberman you old faker; you yourself admitted that lwm uses untold sock puppets here.

LWM HOW DOES HE DO IT?

Jeez, now you got me typing like a Freeper! Okay, I've always wanted to do that. But the question remains.

  • I don't think he is a war hero

    @LWM

I'm with you LWM, all the way! Any man who could "wet start" a jet like John McCain is a true American Hero! Just ask the crew on the Uss Forrestal!

    -- Derbig Mooser

But I've yet to see evidence, other than a coerced confession under torture, that he committed war crimes in Vietnam. I have to tell you, there were far more serious war crimes committed in Korea, and Vietnam, committed by others.

He flew 22 missions in Vietnam. Without knowing more about the specifics of the missions I'd have to refrain from calling him one based on his actions then. That's all. If you want to dress up in a pink teddy and scream "war criminal" and "baby killer" be my guest. Karl Rove can use all the help he can get.

  • Now that all of me are here

    I can take a nap.

  • @Derbig Mooser

Nope, they'll have to come home.

Like they've come home from Korea? What about Camp Bondsteel? You don't really think we care about Kosovo because of "Human Rights" or "Democracy" or some other propaganda campaign, do you?

What about our other 800+ bases in 130+ countries around the world? Are those troops coming home as well? Or is Iraq just another Imperial Outpost?

  • @ casual observer

So it seems quite complex to me.

While it might require an observation which is somewhat more than casual, why don't you try it? It takes two seconds to register for a letters account, please, feel free, register under my name, and write a post for us. Hell, it'll be better than any of the dreck I come up with! I'll be proud to own it as my own.

    Go ahead!

  • @Derbig

Leave who out of what? I love America and all moosettes and anyone who says otherwise, are unpatriotic, un-American and want all killers including ex-husbands to die in vain. I know the pain all families who have lost loved ones are suffering, but I just had to make may hard decisions because I am The Decider. I studied lying, evasion and fake empathy under Dubya, but I just can't replicate that smirk.

  • Timberman says:

German is also a loving tongue

Now that is a hoot. I'll run that past my cousin and she what see says. But frankly, I have never heard anyone before claim that German was the language of love. Or lovers, for that matter.

Considering German history, I think another word would suite better.

  • @ LWM and McCain's "War Crimes"

LWM loves war and warmongering, so therefore nothing done in war is a crime. Change the word "War" to "Love", and ask LWM if he thinks that McCain committed any "Love Crimes" in Vietnam. The answer will still be no, because to LWM War is just the fucking awesomesauce, but it will be easier for him to put the question into its proper context.

  • but bucky -

said something real nice and wise about Obamas

"Wrightpropblem" today. Couldn't that be reason enough for

    Friedensverhandlungen?

  • @buckyl

I sometimes wonder if you really do 'love' his tactics as you so often claim,

Bucky, there are forms of literary relationships which are more exotic, more passionate, more deeply felt and more entangling than any of the gross physical vatiety. You interfere with them at your peril. These people may be more than pen-pals! After all, if you are willing to pull a man's dirty sock over your head and speak in his voice, what perversity can be far behind. And I'm sure LWM hates to leave his behind.

You remember the Nurse in Romeo and Juliet? You wanna end up like that? Leave it alone Bucky, for God's sake: Leave it alone!

  • Hey, Bucky...new recruits!

We hereby award you, Derbig and SomeNYGuy, the red sash of the Junior Anti-Bucky League (Cabal in Buckysprache.) Wear it with pride.
