    I'd think it should cause more concern and consternation if it's coming from someone who is allegedly "judged to have a lot of foreign policy expertise". Obviously the judgement is questionable. But since the "judgement" is et al. and the media in general, perhaps that is why they don't want to delve into the implications too much....
