I'm particularly fond of a line from Russia House. As an American interrogation team disembarks from the floatplane which has carried them to the remote safe house, the CIA officer watching their progress from a large picture window in the house above, turns to his friend from the SIS and says: That's General so-and-so. He's Army from the asshole up. He likes simple answers.
