Obama's faith in the reasoning abilities of the American public

His speech underscored both the promise and the risk of his campaign strategy.

Main Stream Bull Shit Media.

Wrap an American flag around that war mongering corporate shill and let's ram him down america's throat, after all, we are the nervous system and brains of the country - the Main Stream Bull Shit Media.

These suckers forgot that Gore and Bush didn't say anything about invading Afghanistan and Iraq even though it was s done deal before the campaign even started.

Jon Stewart said it best

"Wow. Somebody stood up and talked to us about race as if we're adults."

Anyway

It's moot at this point. Wright is retiring and the new pastor will propably be more circumspect. He was a product of the 60's.

List?

I would suppose only an idiot or someone with a vested interest in seeing him win would excuse or deny every one of his seemingly growing list of denials and fibs and outright lies...

List? Let's see it, rover.

Fetch, boy!

Fetch the list!

Odog

OTOH, we do appreciate your willingness to enforce politically correct speech among the workers. The party apparatus is grateful and you will be rewarded for your efforts.

@odog

Would you deny Obama every one of his denials?

Bush Earned Impeachment 5 Years Ago Today

In a memo sent to Congress five years ago today, Bush decreed that he was attacking Iraq “to take the necessary actions against international terrorists and terrorist organizations, including those nations, organizations, or persons who planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001.”

The Bush administration linked Saddam to 9/11 to justify commencing a war that has left hundreds of thousands of people dead.

Launching an unprovked aggressive war was recognized as a war crime at the Nuremberg tribunals in 1946, which declared that to “initiate a war of aggression… is not only an international crime; it is the supreme international crime differing only from other war crimes in that it contains within itself the accumulated evil of the whole.”

The Bush administration has had five years to offer up evidence to support the Saddam/9/11 tie. They have offered nothing.

It is an outrage that Bush has faced no legal or constitutional peril for his lethal fraud. (James Bovard at antiwar.com)

@WT on Mothers

Yeah. My mom has her positives and negatives, but one thing she did for me I can never repay. 45 years ago in a department store in New Orleans she took me up to a place where there were two separate water fountains. And over one it said "white only" and over another it said "colored only". and she got my little 6 year old lily white red-headed self's attention and pointed at it and said: "See that. That's stupid, Jimmy." And she took me up to get a drink from the "colored only" fountain.

Yes. Mothers. Thanks again, Mom.

Odogging Obama

Now, I noticed that odog has asserted three things about Obama, claiming these to be his lies.

1) "Forgot" how much money Rezko donated: I really don't see why he's supposed to have every campaign contribution memorized. He cited what he knew was correct and later research turned up more data. I am at a loss as to why this is an issue.

2) Claimed to never have heard objectionable remarks from Rev. Wright in an interview and said he heard him say controversial things in the speech: Controversial and objectionable do not mean the same thing. Plain, simple, dictionary-based truth.

3) Stole a speech whole from a friend: Even the mainstream media got this one right. He used a few lines that his friend had used and said friend gave Obama his blessing to do so. The bulk of Obama's speech was not the same as that given by the MA governor.

But what do I know. Since I'm saying all of those things, I must have jungle fever and need a shot to clear it up. I just can't tell if Odog would want me to get a shot of Hillaria or Johnmccain.

Sir: with all respect, just because something seems to be gibberish to you does not mean that it is. There are many things in my life I have thought to be nonsense that I have later come to see have meaning. Though I disagree with many things you say, I do not wish to demean you. When I find something to be "gibbiresh" I often find myself wondering if something is wrong with me. I have read Mr. Celery for many months now and he has helped me in many ways by what he says. When I find what he says to be incomprehensible I take it that I perhaps do not understand.

A buddhist bow to you, sir.

Wednesday, March 19, 2008 10:51 AM

@Odog

I'm sure you find the truth objectionable. I do not.

I have no intention of looking at craigslist or any other source you cite. I do have a list from the Clinton camp.

I'd still like you to try and fetch that list but you can't.

More quotes from America-hating blacks

* "(AIDS was) started by human beings to get after certain people they don't like." -- Bill Cosby, December 4, 1991 edition of The New York Post

* "A real-life Frankenstein started the disease. I believe AIDS has been man-made. AIDS was started by human beings - maybe even one person - in a Frankenstein sort of way to get certain people they didn't like.'" -- Bill Cosby, 1991, National Enquirer interview

And George Bush awarded this man the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

I call upon President Bush to denounce this evil anti-American race-baiting terror-loving modern-day Hitler forthwith!

thanks for the Murray quote. Astonishing!

Nicely done, sir.

That's right...I get it...Obama heard controversial things but didn't find them objectionable. Sure would be nice to have a list of what he defines controversial so we can equate this to what he defines as objectionable...
