  • Initiating force is always wrong

So says lemecdutex (Ron) in a recent post.

A warmonger replied, "Wow! A moral absolutist! Where do you live? When my home is gone from the next big earthquake, I'm coming to your house, sneaking in without using any "force" while your out and claiming it as mine.-- L.W.M."

Do we need reading lessons here? The word "initiating" means to start something. So, if lwm was to try to steal the house of one who did not believe in initiating force, he would still be met with force.

Ah, and that would be karma, eh?

PS: Another Clinton supported no doubt.

  • GC/lwm

"It ain't beanbag. Whether it is Ron Paul, Rockwell and Rothbard or Bush, Cheney and Rove, both Bucky and Shooter backed the losers."

Guilt by association is a normal propagandist tactic, and you do it each day. Several here love that tactic; I wonder if they will enjoy it after the next election. Bets, anyone?

The loser here is the smear artist that goes by lwm and the odious friends who support this sort of smear while decrying it in the press when the target is a Democrat.

I will enjoy the Obama administration as we watch the regulars here claim that it is 'unfair' to smear him with tactics that are used here daily by 'beloved' regulars. Timberman and the vegetable are proud of you.

  • Oh, Jeebus- Here we go again

And note to all, I did not summon him today.

    Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice!

So, Bucky... when are you returning the state of Florida to the Seminoles? Any time soon?

Do we need reading lessons here? The word "initiating" means to start something. So, if lwm was to try to steal the house of one who did not believe in initiating force, he would still be met with force.

Apparently you do need a reading lesson. Who do you think enforces property rights, you ignoramus? The Gummint.

Rockwell would love to see the government as weak as a newborn kitten.

And so would Grover Norguist. He and the Republicans almost got their wish. So Lew Rockwell is not an ideological friend or ally to many here, understand? Try to pay attention here: With very few exceptions, you have no allies here on this matter. We are proponents of limited government. Investigate the distinction. Most of us want government to perform the very important functions that only government can and must perform.

I would rather see it be only a bad memory.

Then you are even less in favor here.

There should be no government involvement at all; only the free will voluntary cooperation of men and women to make their lives better.

There should be trees made of ice cream that don't melt in the noonday sun. There should be no trees with birds in them who crap on your car when you try to park it under the tree to keep it out of the noonday sun while eating your free ice cream tree ice cream cone. Never going to happen while there are too many people on a shrinking planet with dwindling natural resources, unless you wipe out about 4 billion of them.

It's reasons like that I work to keep lunatics from achieving political power.

Any government involvement only makes things worse.

Prove it. As you like to say: No blah blah blah. Show me the proof of this assertion. Remember, all I need to do is to find one example of government making life better and your assertion is false. It is not a valid argument.

The problem is that Americans allow their government to create problems and then beg them to solve the problem government created in the first place.

Americans are their government. It sounds like democracy. We know you don't care for it.

As an example, government is squandering money stolen from the working poor to bail out the banking system; but the government is the root cause of the problem in the first place.

Do other governments have this problem? I'm just curious? If not. Why not?

Ah, but one needs take off the blinders and stop worshiping government to see the truth.

This is an example of your ridiculously simple-minded Marxist-Leninist appraoch to revolutionary thinking. With Marx, the state is better than religion. With you, the state is religion, and must be overthrown and replaced with anarchy because it will make life better. It won't, but you don't like being "oppressed" so the rest of us have no say in the matter.

The guilt by association is all Ron Paul's. He did more than just associate with the guilty. He's one of them. That is pretty damn clear to just about everyone now, unless they have blinders on. I just suspected it. It was demonstrated and proven by others and I point it out.

  • re: Oh, Jeebus- Here we go again, (lwm does ad hominem argument)

So, Bucky... when are you returning the state of Florida to the Seminoles? Any time soon?

Do we have to hear bigoted remarks from you every day? Your buds love the bigotry i guess.

Do we need reading lessons here? The word "initiating" means to start something. So, if lwm was to try to steal the house of one who did not believe in initiating force, he would still be met with force.

Apparently you do need a reading lesson. Who do you think enforces property rights, you ignoramus? The Gummint.

No, you are dodging what you wrote. You confused 'initiating force' with 'using force' just as all big government propagandists do all the time. Rush Limbaugh would give you a hearty amen on that one.

Rockwell would love to see the government as weak as a newborn kitten.

    And so would Grover Norguist.

So? You can not defend the horrors that big government has inflicted on mankind in the last century simply by saying someone's name. Even Timberman knows that.

You love what the US government has been doing the last decade? Then defend away. What 'good' has come from government at any level in the last decade?

I would rather see it be only a bad memory.

There should be no government involvement at all; only the free will voluntary cooperation of men and women to make their lives better.

It's reasons like that I work to keep lunatics from achieving political power.

You work only to keep the status quo big government in power; and only want to see 'your people' running it so that you can vicariously feel powerful yourself.

Americans are their government. It sounds like democracy. We know you don't care for it.

This blog has been about the American government not doing the will of "the people" for months on end. Where have you been? Besides, just because a majority could be found to outlaw homosexual acts does not make it the right thing in spite of your claiming that it is 'just democracy in action'.

This is an example of your ridiculously simple-minded Marxist-Leninist appraoch to revolutionary thinking. With Marx, the state is better than religion. With you, the state is religion, and must be overthrown and replaced with anarchy because it will make life better. No, the coercive force of government must be keep as small as possible because it is inherently brutal. If the government did cease to exist then men and women would create order called society as if by majic since man is a cooperating animal.

You are doing a guilt by association smear on a 30 year old newsletter. I grew up in the south and know that I could dig up enough quotes to show that the Democratic Party should be outlawed as a racist, sexist, murdering group of thugs. But I do not stoop to your level of ad hominem attacks.

Hell, the KOS article on Ron Paul is far better than the garbage you put forth each day defending the war mongering government you love.
