  • Spring Cleaning

I gotta clean the home because guest are gonna visit and say, "What a big mess!"

    -- GoodCelery!

Thank goodness for visitors, for they inspire the onset of Spring Cleaning.

Oh I see.... you must think then that Bork isn't entitled to the current rule of law for some reason. Why is that? Are you making access to the law off limits to some on the basis of their thoughts? Tsk. Tsk.

No one's making his "access to the law off limits" (except perhaps Bork and his cohorts themselves should they have their way).

We're just pointing out that Bork hasn't a single principle left in his body (something that most sentient people twigged to early on when he consented to Tricky Dick's 'Saturday Night Massacre'....), and that this might indeed be a far more serious medical concern (even if pretty much incurable).

Hypocrisy is a hallmark of the RWA. Bork is an excellent example. Stoopidity is also rampant; for that we have Sh**ter's daily reminders....

    Cheers,

  • William Timberman went overboard again....

You have a good day too... Check the food real good... If you see black looking rice in the soup...

Don't assume it's wild Arizona Rice?

If you get a tuna on rye, look closely.

I was on a fish boat and got seasick.

    Fisherman stab fish with pitchforks.

    Mice run everywhere and starboard.

    `

What ever you get in the cafeteria,

it's like marriage. It's bad politics?

You see what other picked out and,

"Darn!" You think, "Wish I got that!"

Oh ho. You must be the dreaded links lawyer, a skinny little guy who enjoys making other people's lives less lovely by way of becoming the unelected sheriff of divots, impediments, and obstructions. Much like the bureaucrats that inhibited the flying lesson and laptop information pre 9/11.

Oh. Like that manager that sat on Rowley's requests to DC? The one that Dubya gave a performance bonus to while the fed gummint overall had wages frozen?

But that was just a Bushie doing a Bushie "heck of a job".

    Cheers,

  • Nefarious intent is difficult to define

In short, you are barking up a fantasy tree concocted out of thin air.

Some of the things you say are just too precious.

    And nefarious intent to whom?

But if you want to push the point, I'd like to hear why you think that ATT shouldn't be allowed to examine the use of it's own facilities for those with nefarious intent.

I guess you are losing so much political turf that soon you will be joining forces with Bucky to argue that national defense, security, policing and civil and criminal court functions are best provided by the private sector. I can hardly wait.

UCLA Medical Center is taking steps to fire at least 13 employees and has suspended at least six others for snooping in the confidential medical records of pop star Britney Spears during her recent hospitalization in its psychiatric unit, a person familiar with the matter said Friday.

In addition, six physicians face discipline for peeking at her computerized records, the person said.

Even Britney Spears is entitled to a little privacy.

I am also pretty sure that you have no idea that any such thing actually occured [sic] leaving you with no complaints of worth.

And so if the bank is embezzling my money without my knowledge, that's just fine and dandy; I have no right to complain. And if I demand to look at the freaking books to find out if they've been doing any hanky-panky, I should be told to STFU because I can't show in advance any perfidy?!?!?

You gotta love RW 'logic'. They think they wrote "Catch-22" ... and that it belongs in the non-fiction bin.

  • Just saying...

Just for the record, I think it was also worth noting, as I did in two separate comment posts in this thread, that Goldfarb, in his diatribe, wrote that he doubted any of the telecommunication company CEO's hesitated when approached by the government to 'help'. In fact, of course, Qwest's CEO is on record of having done so. Who knows for sure what the others did at first?

I have noted there are people in legal in some places that have said "get a warrant". They care about getting the baddies, but they care about doing things right. Good on 'em.

I guess you are losing so much political turf...

Ever notice that the volume of his miasmatic efflux seems to go up in direct proportion to how badly he (and his champeens) have been spanked? Why, today, he's a veritable Henry James....

    Who woke-up Glenn?

    Alarm clock?

    I blame L.W.M. A mess.

A mess? Did you ever see Einstein?

    Sing Mr. Rogers favorite song?

    Please don't.

shooter242 will never go down the drain.

    Bigger drain.

L.W.M. You instill fear in the Salon reader.

    Boo!

No, no never, will you go down the sewer?

Too late. We're probably all soggy sewer toast.

This is true of almost anyone to the right of the moderate conservatives in this country, sadly. Moderate conservatives would be most of the Democratic party, including Bill Clinton, the Best Republican President since Ike, or maybe Ford. At least Ford didn't make things worse, even if he accomplished nothing, that is an accomplishment for any Republican. Rothbard, Rockwell, et. al. adopted a Leninist strategy in the 60s. They pandered to any political sector they could if it would advance their own agenda, from the Panthers to the Paleopukes. Those are some principles for you. Rockwell still does it, which is why any knowledgeable person holds them in contempt. I think LaRouche learned it from Rothbard. I have principles. I don't care how much you hate Bush. That's between you and him. I'm more interested in your principles, or if you even have any.
