As GOP fear-mongering sinks to new lows, is the House Democrats' defiance yesterday a one-time event or a sign of things to come?
  • Hoyer and Van Hollen were made an offer they couldn't refuse...

The Donna Edwards upset in their own backyard of Maryland, combined with the massive wave against the Dems failures in Congress likely had them in tears, where they finally relented to the voters mandates. For the first time since Nov. 06.

Even Reyes, whom I thought a bad and weak choice for Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, rose up magnificently to the occasion to write this 'in your face' defiant letter to W:

I sincerely believe some of our Congressional Dems are feeling a little more comfortable and pretty darn frisky -and maybe even proud -about doing their jobs, with Obama's rise in stature around the country.

That Red State/Purple state fearmongering pushed by Schumer of the DSCC and Emanuel/Van Hollen of the DCCC to control critical Congressional votes -like the Patriot Acts and FISA, is finally being thrown out the window.

If Obama wins, and the Democrats dump the current crop of Congressional leaders, for the first time in several decades the 111th may be a new and proud beginning for the Democratic party as a whole, but more importantly for the world!
