The Senate's actions today in permanently protecting Bush officials from clear lawbreaking illustrate how far we've tumbled from the Church Committee of the post-Watergate era.

  • Someone let their retard out...

"Come on little man, let's hear some real right wing gnashing and wailing! Afraid you might get spanked again? You little chickenshit. Come out and cry yourself to sleep again. It's music to our ears and so good for your wounded pride. Do carry on."

    Anyone want to claim him?

  • Meanwhile, back at the ranch....

It seems the "tax rebate" has been officially passed and checks are on the way. Would anyone like to say something nice about Bush? This is after all a truly liberal action. It's a direct redistribution of wealth.

  • PW - Seriously dishonest

"Glenn is a twit" and "Lefty's hate the military" are NOT "right wing" positions.

They are inflamatory trollings. That they evoke hostile responses is unsurprising but to suggest that that says anything about the diverse groups of residents here as opposed to your own pathological self-importance is to be utterly dishonest.

Again, not to surprising for a cheerleader for bomb manufacturers.

  • Another delusional lefty

"Glenn is a twit" and "Lefty's hate the military" are NOT "right wing" positions"

You are a big lying lefty - I haven't said either of those things (nor have I cheerled for bomb manufacturers) and thus those quote marks are erroneous. You get today's "Two straps short of a waterboard" award.

  • Disavowing his own words.

    The mark of a liar:

One of the reasons I regards Glenn as being such a small and petty man (in keeping with most of the posters here)

the military exists more or less for the sole purpose (in actuality if not in principle) of raping babies and kiling civvies. A position I might add that while nobody agreed with, nobody else here was particularly in a hurry to attack or disagree with

Not everyone has sufficient reading comprehesion difficulties to extract "Glenn is a twit" and "Lefties hate the military" from the above senences.

  • Bush is a warmongering socialist like you!

  • The list of cross-over voters

My senator Stabenow was listed in the first update but not in the last. Was she ever on the list or was that an error? I want to know if I need to chew on her leg or apologize to her.

    -thanks

  • Ummm... Get a grip.

You are arguing with a guy who quotes comic book superheroes who are just barely post-pubescent and might be called Captain Obvious.

PW... I'll quote Spiderman since no doubt you'll have seen it and are able to relate ; 'with great power comes great responsiblity." More pragmatically, the US cannot be a continental fortress. Her economic and politcal fortures are too enmeshed in those of the rest of the world for her ot simply be a bystander in global affairs.

Just like EVERY SINGLE REPUBLICAN POLICY GOING. Except, ideally, "socialism" would actually benefit someone I know.

You ain't any kind of conservative, shooter, not like in the 70s, 80s, 90s.

You're some freakish neocon bootlicking anti-American partisan creep who thinks it's hilarious when the people he pays to do a job turn around and do the exact opposite.

Yeah, the tax rebate is stupid, but since you ought to know better than to keep shilling for crooks, you beat it.

Tell me how "conservative" all that debt is.

In UpdateI: Stabenow voted against passage of the Dodd/Feingold ammendment to the bill. The ammendment would have excluded telecom amnesty in the final passage the bill. That is a vote for amnesty by Stabenow.

In UpdateV: Stabenow voted for final passage of the bill, which included telecom amnesty. That is a vote for amnesty. Stabenow would thus earn a chewing out from you for both of those votes.

  • Name game

Late to the fun, but this is stolen from a bumpersticker riff on the old stickers with just a "W".

    Woops

I think that sums up both his presence in the office and his performance once there.

For my take on McCain's sell-out on torture and a video of Whitehouse's great statement during the debate, click on my name.

  • Dirks the berk

"Not everyone has sufficient reading comprehesion difficulties to extract "Glenn is a twit" and "Lefties hate the military" from the above senences."

What you infer from them is entirely up to you (as you and the hater's coalition repeatedly demonstrate, your inferences are seldom connected to the actual substance of people's statements - your awesomely idiotic "cheerleader for bomb manufacturers" remark for example), but don't pretend you are quoting me when you are not.

  • Something to say, shooter242?

Would anyone like to say something nice about Bush?

No. The man isn't worth the $7 in household chemicals he's made of.

  • cheerleader for bomb manufacturers

Your first appearance on this board was in response to Glenn's observation that the US military budget exceeds that of all other countries combined. Since a huge fraction of that budget goes directly to companies such as Raytheon for items which have little utility except to destroy buildings and pulverize people, its not much of a stretch to refer to you as a cheerleader for those companies.

  • Terrorist!

    Interesting logic, or lack thereof.

Since you want American troops out of Iraq and so does Al-Queda, it's 'not much of a stretch' to refer to you as a terrorist.
