Materials, get the word out

Several people said they liked the letters I posted. Feel free to use them, re-arrange them, roll them up and put them in bottles if you like.

There are 535 people with offices in Washington who need to hear that sitting pat on an admission of torture systematized and approved by the President of the United States, and carried out on prisoners, one of whom lodged a formal complaint as long ago as last summer, is unacceptable, and illegal under international law.

BTW, Time Magazine is now covering fresh allegations of waterboarding at Guantanamo Bay.

No mention whatsoever of torture or any statements and investigations in the front (A) section of the New York Times today. Disgusting behavior of a news organization.

Osama murdered?

I just found this bit of video on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIO8B6fpFSQ& It's an interview by David Frost of Benazir Bhutto from last November. It aired on Aljazeera English. About 4 to 5 minutes into the interview, Benazir Bhutto says that a man named Omar Sheik murdered Osama Bin Laden!!! What's amazing is that David Frost has no reaction to it at all. So I got to wonder, is Osama dead? If so, funny that it never got reported here. Well maybe that's why Bush said he didn't worry about OBL anymore, he knew he was dead.

on-deli' omelet.

Chuang-Tzu would love you.

He sometimes wasn't sure if,

he was Chuang-Tzu or a butterfly.

He may have thought he was,

a fair feathered hen named,

O, teased as old hen-Pete!

No, O, I no-hen-peck you?

US Customs is seizing laptops and communications devices from anyone who enters the country whose name ends with a vowel.

Uh-oh.... Double-darn.

Cheers,

@GoodCelery!

Thank you, you are kind. As the newly knighted official omelette of the territories, I am proud to be deemed a good egg.

So there, ondelette dreamt he was an egg.
Spitting and frying, a real egg, yes.
Suddenly, he awoke and was ondelette.
Don't know if he was ondelette who dreamt of being an egg,
Or was an egg, now dreaming he was ondelette.
Between the egg and ondelette,
There is a difference, hmm?
This is called the transformation of things.

My apologies to Chuang-Tzu

@Bystander & Anonymust - re: Dowd

The following text, in brackets, is what appears in my hard copy of yesterday's Times. I'm holding it in my little hand. The bracketed text is preceded by an end phrase from the prior graph, and followed by the lead phrasing into the next graph.

" ... he'll be seen as the closest thing to J.F.K. since J.F.K. And J.F.K. is Bill's hero.

[Even though Obama stopped smoking when he started running for president, he has lost five pounds racing around the country. Just like Hollywood starlets, he works out religiously and can make a three-course meal out of a Nicorette.]

For much of the year, when matched against Hillary in debates ... "

~~~
I checked her Wednesday column, as posted on Drudge. The bracketed graph is completely gone from that version.
ondelette. O.
You were complimented in a tease style manner by art G.
If I may add: You write letters that are clear as a brass or gold bell.
Even if you aren't goody scrambled egg-omelette's...
You a good letter writer scribbler, IMO. I thank you. You are sunny side up. I'd yoke with you in rainy weather to plow a garden straight-line plant-furrow. I think that's a compliment.
I know zilch about technology. I do recognize a good egg layer. At the farm we have a hen named Pete, a cat named Virtuous, and two dogs:
One dog is named Lulu. She is a black large poodle.
The other blond yellow retriever took the place of a dog we once had named Cezanne. A hunter may have shot Cezanne.
Well.
Each time I eat a brown egg cheese omelet from a egg from the hen-named-Pete...I'll thank beautiful feathered Pete for the good brown eggs. My Granddaughter calls scrambled eggs Eggo's. She is so proud she knows how to make good scrambled egg's.
Thanks for what you do.
Your a real sunny gift.
The graph that is supposed to be in the paper version, and is missing from the online version is:
Even though Obama stopped smoking when he started running for president, he has lost five pounds racing around the country. Just like Hollywood starlets, he works out religiously and he can make a three-course meal out of a Nicorette.
The link to the online version of Dowd's offending column is at my sig. You should find the graph above in your paper. You won't find it online.
ondelette: moved & seconded?
I just want to say "me too"... "what RMP said"
Thursday, February 7, 2008 09:47 AM
@Anonymust
Do you want to know what yesterday's hard copy says?
If so, give me a hint as to what to look for and I'll put it up here.
Thursday, February 7, 2008 09:42 AM
Dirigo...
If you start with this FDL post:
http://firedoglake.com/2008/02/06/late-nite-fdl-get-the-net/
...and follow the links to Somerby's post and to MoDo's column, you'll see what we're talking about.
Just more of MoDo's usual feminization of male Democratic presidential candiates, and the opposite for their spouses and for female candidates.
