  • Jam with that toast?

Bill can say whatever he wants about Obama, the Kennedy endorsement just put a fork in HRC. She's done.

The Billary will panic and go harshly negative (since that's all they know) and the implosion will be beautiful.

By Tuesday next they'll be lucky to get 25% of delegates.

  • Still waiting for HRC to get back in the news

Her advisers must be scratching their heads wondering what she should say next.

  • Not Until We Say

    Anon 7:08

Hillary is done when we, the people, say that she is done. Or she quits.

You may think there isn't a dream that sustains us, those who support her, but there is. Oh, there is. So, Ted Kennedy and Caroline aside, it's not over until it's over.

  • Peter Principle in Play

Anyone else see the Peter Principle in play here with Mr. Clinton? Just one promotion too many to spouse of candidate for president.

  • The Racism of the Media

The suggestion that Bill Clinton's comparison of Barack Obama's victory to Jesse Jackson's two victories is very interesting. The denigration of Jackson by the Media is rather racist. The protection of Obama from all criticism is also a bit peculiar.

Bill Clinton's message in South Carolina was simple we got loss badly but Obama's victory was not unique nor does it mean he will get the nomination. Given that Obama received 81% of the Black Vote, a perfectly reasonable result, and Blacks make up 53% of the Democratic vote in South Carolina, but not so much elsewhere, Clinton's observation unlike Greenwald's is to use the truth to say things the Media does not like to admit.

  • How could there be many people who don't know the definition of "racism"?

Can we manage to find a way to use the word "racist" sparingly and only when applicable? Get out your dictionaries people, you are taking the easiest most dishonest route here when you say idiotic things like this: "Why is Glenn such a racist?" because he mentioned Jesse Jackson.

Glenn is not a racist, you are completely wrong and if you had any brains or bothered to read ( Did you miss that class?) you would realize the folly of your query. Heaven forbid someone writes about someone who happens to be black, or brown, tan or pale!

Get a grip, this election is still about the money and who has it vs. who does not. Maybe you missed that class too?

  • Spot On, Glenn

The disgust I felt for Obama for lauding Ronald Reagan last week has dissolved to nothing after the Clintons' performance in South Carolina. Bill has just undone the best part of his reputation and put the future viability of Democratic politics at risk by purposefully and systematically playing the race card there.

This morning I listened to Hillary's communications director trying to explain away Bill's post-election comments -- all the poor guy could do was try to change the subject to the pressing needs facing our great nation at this critical juncture in history. I hope there's a lot more whities out there like me who are ready to put Hillary and her race-baiting spouse out of our misery.

  • Here come the waterworks

The Kennedy endorsement takes serious votes away from her, the OLDER crowd, the WHITER crowd, the FEMALE crowd.

HRC is going to cry again.

  • Grow up People

I am a lifelong loyal democrat and most likely will support Obama in November if he is the nominee, but these cries of racism are really getting old with me and many of the people (democrats) that I know. Obama's tagline that he would be able to breach the partisan gap is also a bit suspect. I guess he is just another blame the Clintons and Gore for the past 15 years of character assassination and press misconduct. BTW I will vote for John Edwards if he is still around in the PA primary.

I do not believe Obama is a candidate like Jesse Jackson, but if Glenn or anyone else on this thread thinks he has a chance of carrying S. Carolina in the general election, I have some subprime mortgages I can sell them too.

This is a campaign for the presidency not the township schoolboard, if Obama thinks being compared to JJ is a racial insult, how will he face the trash and comparisons he will face in the fall. I guess his will be a peachy bipartisan adventure much like John Kerry and probably just as successful.

  • @28

    re on Glen:

And you're not a silly person, so I believe you have a larger point/purpose you are unwilling to come out and make.

I agree with that. Glen is just too quick to trash any Democrat and to promote the unviable ones. I

For example two days after the Democrats won their whopping 15 person margin in the House and JOhnson hadn't even been able to return to work in the Senate (leaving the GOP effective majority) Glenn was busily trashing them for not having saved the world. (and continues to).

Today he continues to prop up an unviable candidate as Obama and to trash the proven, effective Clinton's.

    Tommorrow it's something else.

But you better believe it will be something in some way to either A) encourage the never-happy-anyway liberal left to be pissed off and split from the Democrats B) trash the Democrats who actually get elected and get something done or C) blame the Democrats for Bush's/GOP ruinous fallout.

  • @Grow Up People

Obama's tagline that he would be able to breach the partisan gap is also a bit suspect.

Oh, come now. Surely big public endorsements of archaic liberal icons like Kuchinich,Kerry and Kennedy will help him breach the partisan divide with that "cross-party" appeal he has.

    Indicted Obama Fundraiser Rezko Arrested

    Jan 28, 11:35 AM EST

Rezko, for those of you unfamiliar, is Obama's referred to slumlord pal, the same that's been interjecting stockpiles of big money into his campaign.

Now watch the liberal left and Obama find a way to blame this on Bill Clinton.

  • Rezko arrested!

I just saw a picture of Rezko sandwiched between HRC and WJC, all three smiling like they just ate the canary.

The hits just keep on comin' for HRC, she can't catch a break.

  • ER, Anon...have a cup of coffee.

God, I hate to break it to you, but Rezzko's been injecting thousands and thousands into Obama's campaign and is one of his biggest supporters - including apparently even buying his house at one time per the article.

you're going to have a hard time spinning this one on Bill Clinton, but I'm sure you'll try something that lame. Oh wait. you just did.
