    Dorsal nudity?!?

    !!!&???!!!Oo00oO!

    That's horrible.

Naked and bowed low, Inanna entered the throne room.

Ereshkigal rose from her throne. Inanna started toward the throne. The woodworker made a fragrant boxwood. Inanna was turned into a corpse. A piece of rotting meat, and was hung from a hook on the wall. (taken from Inanna, Queen of Heaven and Earth)

Gads are we people lame or what? 'in' Treasures of Darkness.

It's ole Sumerian literature. W. Shakespeare is said to borrow phrases for Cleopatra-Greek Aphrodite, Roman Venus, and other polytheistic earthen 'beliefs' when lifestyles were

    agrarian, woodlots, and wildflower pastoral.

I could not restrain a thought after Nezua.

Somewhere the poet Gary Snyder writes about a hermit who always visited the village. No one understood his language.

He's go home and laugh like crazy all by himself because people were so funny. If he lived today he'd be so lost, confused, befuddled, and not understand ipods, computers,

cell phones, etc., (my son has one I'm asked to listen to

with downloaded music, which I enjoy, btw), and wonder why all the worthless junk in stored in Wall Mart stores? He'd wonder, 'Why do people want more clutter?' He wore unsettling

hats, shoes, and ripped woolen clothes. He may have looked outlandish like Glenn? He said, "People say they don't understand me? But I don't comprehend them!"

Mei familia no comprende duh same ingles. adios.

The 'critter's' "trips" to the market place to laugh!

He'd high-tail-it back as fast as he could diddly.

It's that Tao Te Ching? Different things interest.

over/out. weave in and out. take up crochet. behave.

He had eccentric wonderful friends who visited him.

And he/she longed to spend moments at their hideaways.

    stay alive.

    good night.

  • Just as foolish

Those who insist that defeat is inevitable and All is Lost are relieved of the burdensome task of trying. But defeat occurs because the right strategy isn't found, not because it is inevitable.

I'm reminded of something Mark Twain said once: that not believing in anything you hear is just as foolish as believing everything you hear.

    Keep it up!

  • @Ondelette

Welcome back, if only for a quickie.

If the telecom issue is "hot" on the internet, and the MSM is only now a bit more than dimly aware of the "BUZZ" about it; all the more reason to build the thing to a din - a massive "BUZZ."

    NO freakin' telecom immunity!

    BUZZZZZZZ ...

  • I have mercy

    they have none of it.

Into the breach, my fellow Americans.

I have yet to see anything more lovely than what I am gazing at (not my belly) now. The sun is setting on those mountains I can see, I am grateful and this is such a lovely site.

I am burning my candle, tonight.

    it is

    beeswax.

  • Dirigo.

The good fairy lover found one entrancing.

And checked his song to seek a fresh embrace.

Even the Forrest trees received the embraces.

Yet Shiva still remained in calm meditation.

Absorbed, though he heard the singing elves.

Can anything have power over perturbations,

And it's sure very hard to master the self.

Frowning, with fingers to the lips quelling,

And blossom-breast the slender stems bending.

    ~

    apologies/extracting some petal-lips/entranced.

    over/out/late/plagiarism/not-vulgarisms. adios.

  • Sherry.

    a cheers.

    i sip too.

    lips quell.

    Your sweet.

  • @ondelette, This is the DFA e-mail

    Dear RMP,

President Bush wants the Senate to pass retroactive immunity for telecommunication companies who spied on Americans. For the President, this isn't just about letting his friends at AT&T and Verizon off the hook. He knows this is the American people's last chance to hold the Bush administration accountable for their warrantless wiretapping of innocent Americans.

The key vote is scheduled for late Monday afternoon and the count is down to the wire. We need 41 Senators to stand up to President Bush and right now we have only 36.

Senators Clinton and Obama are the missing votes. If Senator Clinton or Obama stands up and leads from the floor of the U.S. Senate and calls upon the 8 senators that have endorsed their campaigns to stand with them, we'll have the votes we need and the American people will win.

Democracy for America will not stay silent and hope our Presidential candidates will lead. We demand it. That's why we're running this ad in the New York Times on Monday.

Take action now and make sure the media pressures Senators Clinton and Obama too. Contact the major media outlets below to make sure they know what you want our presidential candidates to do and include the ad link.

On Monday, we'll back up the ad with phone calls to every Senator in the country demanding they stand up to President Bush and stop retroactive immunity for telecom companies that spied on Americans.

We're standing up and taking action. Senators Clinton and Obama say they are ready to lead. Let's see them prove it.

Thank you for everything you do.

  • You Heard it Here, Folks, Off-Topic - Pluto is Going into Capricorn Now

On January 18, 1985 the planet Pluto went into the sign Sagittarius. It has been there for over 13 years. Yesterday, for the first time in hundreds of years it went into Capricorn. (It was last in Capricorn in December, 1778).

In astrological lore, Pluto represents a major need of humankind. For the last 13 or so years, one of the major needs has been to refine and spread religious and philosophical thought. Proselytizing and trying to spread an individual’s religion has been a big part of political activity of this era.

Most of the worst problems that we can think of during this time can be laid to people who consider themselves highly religious. Unfortunately, most of them have been sticking together with their own small group to the exclusion of all other religious, as well as non-religious people.

The one universal during this time of the highly and overtly religious has been:

Believe exactly as I do, or

    God will kill you, or

    I’ll kill you, or

You will live a miserable and unfortunate life.

All just because you didn’t believe exactly as I do.

This is not constrained to only specifically religious discussions. It also includes governmental matters. It is shown itself in a general ‘we-they’ attitude. Examples can be seen in such items as:

Our government gave massive tax breaks to people who have paid handsomely to said government and to lobbyists who have pressured it, while pretty clearly leaving everyone else out in the cold.

The judicial system is broken, for instance:

Scooter Libby got off scott-free while Martha Steward and Marion Jones both ended up doing hard time.

The US Justice department fired people who didn’t play ball with the Republican hierarchy, hired stooges who did and then, so far, has ignored any subpoena by congress to explain what it did with no consequences.

    Anything Alberto Gonzales touched.

It was all let’s grab everything we can for ourselves and screw the rest of the suckers who never got connected with us.

It shows in Jay Rockefeller and many of the Democrats - Democrats in Name Only, (DINO’s) - joining Dick Cheney and Mitch McConnell to, once again and for all to again see, really screw the American people just to completely rub our noses in the whole smarmy drama of the telecomm whitwash in the FISA bill.

This has not helped the infrastructure of our country by any means. As Ben Franklin so well said the last time Pluto was in Capricorn, “We’ll hang together or we’ll hang apart”. He also said, "He who sacrifices freedom for security deserves neither".

That is the message of Pluto in Capricorn. Our structures of government, communications, economics are all in tatters. The official construction model is horribly flawed. This is the time for action to fundamentally change how things fit together. Accepted Truths regarding many aspects of our modern world will be looked at in a fundamentally different, fresh and remorseless manner.

This will mark a major shift in consciousness and things will be different in ways that don't make much sense at first because they are so new. Change will be pretty slow at first. Pluto will go back into Sagitarius on June 15th and then, on November 28th, just after the 2008 election, it will be in Capricorn from then until January 2024 when it goes into Aquarius

    Better? Worse? Different.

Our country was founded on a pretty wonderful structure, the triangle, with three equally powerful branches always fighting to balance out the other two. It was that way because the founders did not trust anyone, especially anyone in power, so they did the best they could to keep things rolling. The last 7 years we have mostly had a dictatorship of one branch while its members were packing all the courts for another type of dictatorship after the Republicans have worn out their welcome in the administrative branch. Before that, when they tried to impeach Clinton it was a dictatorship of congress. It always seems to be whichever branch the Republicans own a the time that is trying to grind down the other two branches in order to run things itself.

If the judicial branch has been politicized and ‘fixed’ enough, we might see a repeat of 2000 where five justices of the Supreme Court once again can elect the president. It could happen again. The Republicans own most of the courts and most of the voting machines. And nearly all of the media.

But this is not a sustainable situation. If the Elites and Very Rich keep getting what they want to the detriment of everyone else there will be two results. The people getting the most will never be satisfied and will always want more. And at some point the system will become too flawed, too corrupt and completely unsustainable. That is the time when people can see clearly that the emperor has no clothes. It is the time for people to get together to fix things.

This is the time to do it. Pluto in Capricorn shows that it is the era when we need to roll up our sleeves and solve how to make the system start working correctly for the greatest good of all people and not for the selfish aims of a small exalted minority.
