Jay Rockefeller's unintentionally revealing comments

AT&T's personal senator boasts of feelings of "cockiness" as he battles on behalf of Dick Cheney, telecoms and GOP senators.

Made my call to McCaskill's office this morning

The aide who answered was obviously handling a LOT of phone calls this morning -- I got put on hold for a time first. I said simply that I wanted to go on record as a Missouri voter to urge McCaskill to vote no on the cloture vote and that I'm already on record opposing telecomm immunity and basket warrants. He gave a canned statement about how the Senator's goal is to pass a bill that is good for the nation, etc. and took my zip code to add to their tally.

I've emailed or called McCaskill at every stage of this thing and she's always voted against me, but I still do my duty. Maybe one day I'll get a miracle? Tough to hope for given Bond though.

Bebop

"ecum. spirit. 2.2.2.0.

dominus biscuit. a kyrie."

-- bebop-o

That's about what I always thought they were saying. Except it sounded more like:

'ecume spirit choo choo o.

Dominus Nabisco' ..;o)

Kitt. bless you. o, 2, 2, 4, burps. sigh.

I love Nabisco's chocolate wafers with white cream inside.

Those Oreo cookies are great. I lick the cream and save the wafer for lunchtime after dinner yummy snacks.

I just got to the past the yesterdays back-post.

I wonder if Lobelia is running for local flower county club garden commissioner? I vote yea!

William Timberman may be steeping some local sassafras tree stump splinter tea at his home?

I'd hire some human-possums here to be a chauffeur and drive 'us' all slowly to DC and allow 'our' spine-to-tingle for two, three, or more weeks in pleasant friendly luxury.

Dodd speech today

Either just before or after his speech, Dodd was interviewed on MSNBC and the subject of FISA did not come up. Only the economy and the bipartisan bill to help the economy was discussed. It just backs up my point that I made early this morning that so far the M$M has little interest in FISA.

Indeed, I can Jebbie.

Can you visualize the image these candidates could offer the American people by presenting a solid and united front on this single issue?

If they were to manage to set aside their pursuit of the Presidency long enough to do this, I believe they would almost guarantee the executive office (and maybe even both houses of Congress as well) would remain in the hands of the Democratic party for the foreseeable future.

It would also be so historic an occurrence that the M$M would have to cover it. Pickin' and choosin', not to mention just makin' it up as they go, wouldn't be much of an option for a situation like this. I am visualizing a dozen (or more) pundits choking on their own bile.... ;->

I hope that our efforts can persuade them to set aside ambition and ego for the common good, but I am not optimistic that all three can be convinced of the wisdom of this sort of effort - too many consultants stand in the way.

R.M.P.

Well, if we need to buy a used pulpwood jalopy truck next week we will. Just plan to fix the tin barn roof and learn to daydream. Don't hammer the thumb nail.

If ya's had a million dollars it won't make a creep happy.

The bunch of thugs on Capital Hill can go to Scotland or Saudi Arabia but they can't escape the fact they are decomposing in front of 'our' eyes and dying from Shame and vast empty sorrow.

It's sad to watch it.

It may be time to learn to plant 'tatters, sweet corn, celery, and get a cheap Poulan chain saw at the Good Will store. Learn to feed the egg-layer hens and know its not so horrible to muck out the chicken coop.

Drive a dented up pickup and form a lady auxiliary to help can what is surplus garden harvest. The sweet heirloom tomatoes at this time of year are better than gold. Ya's can't eat gold nuggets, anyway. My brain gets addled listening to these deceived GOPS, lured from reality, yuck-politico's, O, anyway.

It's a free world? They choose their Fate. They make the bed and go sleep in it! No responsible species fouls the home-nest except a neocon neoconservative. Sick? Your darn damn right they are...

They have been driving on the wrong side of the road all their wretched life.

Go milk a utter full of sweet milk? I swear that that kinda treat is a nice teet that won't hurt ya...I'm Tell-In's ya's...

...them there damn GOPS are darn crazy. Ya's think the rich-creeps are happy? No. 'um are mighty miserable. Look at 'um dribble on the GOPS front stage page. 'Um way yonder out-there, and very dangerously insane. I suppose they got the dog rabies?

remain clear of them,

They Spew Bad Poison.

"too many consultants stand in the way."

Sadly, you're probably correct.

I've often wondered how much of our fate is in the hands of "consultants" and staffers as opposed to those who we actually elect.

Friday, January 25, 2008 11:07 AM

Pedinska.

I'd rather telephone you? Then I'd not feel I'm stalling by the yucky sound of a politico's voice. I strain to hear a word of common-spirit good-sense. Who can't tell they read some laminated policy jabber?

It's embarrassing to listen to...

It's aggravating to hear a drone.

The local Jackass at least goes hew-haw.

I'm not one who like to taunt those 'critter' but gads...

I can be curt to a Pedinska, and love a non-smart-troll addict at the same time.

It's fun to be real.

Occasionally we all get weary of bland dead dull coyness.

I'd not violate the be-courteous-to-everybody rule, but their business in DC seems to be in the money market Ode a full of more wretched deceptions.

Uh, yeah, I'm still here senator?

Are you on the same-same universe as Good 'ole people like

Pedinska? Oh, pardon me?

Put me on hold? Oh, okay.

I'll just get into 'om....

It's calm breathing exercise?

You do gargles?

You like bagels?

We all want to survive!

'um please do-no have too sensitive of a skin.

O, bless Pedinska's kind...and I appreciate yam's...

O, fresh dug tatters and bananas. Hallelujah. Gracious.
