my point, besides my being old and thinking cool involves leather, cuban points & a duck tail, is that the look evolved from prison; not to my mind the best role models, though i'm sure there those that gave up the life. i'm just guessing they bought belts.
i'm sure there is a bit of cultural bias. but i just think it looks like a plumber. wearing boxers (thank god?)
