Not at all. It's the least we can expect a right to request. ;~) After all, what's a slight variation in estrogen compared with adrenaline and testosterone surges?

Kitt: Agreed. I especially love the way he describes having to "steal" his education. Back when I still kept my blog active, I did a bunch of posts on an alternative/shadow cabinet, and nominated Chris Rock as the Secretary for Education, with the idea that he'd proselytize (in my alternative world) about an education being worth "stealing" if necessary.
Then, it was on to banned books, etc. I figured that the NCLB was soooo far off the mark... that they were going about it all wrong. All of the emphasis should instead be on improving the education of black children and students, since white kids tend to emulate them, not the other way around. So trying to narrow the race gap in grades under the current plan makes no sense. But again, that's my upside-down way of looking at things.
More importantly, it was after the 2004 election, and I had to do something to bring myself around.
